Pardon the noobery...

Does anyone know how to keep track of the blogs upon which I may have commented on? It's a real pain in the ass to try to keep up with a conversation if you can't even find the damn thing.

Let me ask you a question sir. Do you right the names of the blogs down on pieces of paper? Do realize how ridiculous that is? As simple as that would make things, it means that I would actually be establishing a link between real life and online life. This should NEVER happen. I don't care how easy it makes things. The reason being that if I establish that link, my online life will no longer be confined to staying online and will not disappear when I leave the computer. There would be real life evidence of my online life. That little slip of paper could create thought processes about subjects or responses that would be related to conversations that do not exist in the real. Then it will only be a matter of time before I start confusing real life events and conversations with online conversations and events. At that point I become pathetic. Not to say that I'm not already pathetic, because I just very well may be such. But that would make me even more pathetic. We cannot allow these to worlds to coincide. The ending result would be catastrophic.

There is a way to keep up with blogs you have commented on: click the 'view my profile link' on the left side of the page , then when your profile opens click My blogs and you'll see all the blogs you commented ongrin

nope, there isnt as far as I know.. and that is why I think the blogs aren't a great way to communicate with folks..
try the forums for that!!

the blogs here seem more like the mutterings we murmur at the kitchen table.. pretty private and only meant for close friends..

if you insist on keeping track on where you commented, try adding the blog author to your favorits,- or become a fan even!

and if all fails, use 'stickies' on your computer to note the blogs via copy/paste.
(do you get 'stickies' on PC's?)

P-S: dont count on me finding your reply here.. I may never find your blog again.. ever.. frustrated

I have wondered the same thing. It would be a great feature for CS to add, as well as a search the forums functionality.

I love the blogs but it's definitely hard to keep track of the conversations. help
