There wasn't a recession to begin with. All that nonsence was based on speculation. When the stock market prdicts a drop in certain areas, major corporation quickly downsize to keep profits up, in return you and your neighbor lose your jobs, causeing you to tighting your belt and not spend money like you usually do, causeing small and large businesses to raise their prices. Right now the state of Texas is recieving 10,000 new residents almost weekly because Govenor Rick Perry and his administration took a hard conservitive approach to state policies to include state jobs and Texas based corporations. The so-called recession really wasn't felt here all that much.

Are you kidding me?...we haven't even seen the tip of the iceberg yet...you just can't keep spending money like a drunken sailor and then just print more. Somebody (our kids) are gonna pay for all of this. It's gonna get a lot worse before it gets any better.

Over? That is just another way that the media is providing you with more lies and pulling everyones strings like a puppet. As we all know the media tells the news, then tells you how you should inturpate it. They want to do your thinking for you to keep you under control. That has been since the government has taken control of the media.

Yes the ressession is over, leaving America with an estimated 17 trillion dollar Defficet, by the end of the first 2 years of Obama. What wonderful things we seem to forget.

Perfect example is how Reagan ignored the job market in 1987, and did a massive tax cut. That lowered the cost of living and engraved in stone the effectiveness and job saving "Trickle down Economy". Reagannomics was born.

Seems that we are going in the wrong direction.

laugh Hi Tonym...how have you been? My ? is this..You say there isnt a recession..and you say the 'so-called recession' hasnt effected Texas...Isnt the reason (for tens of thousands of new residence there and money appropriation) due to the high number of 'illegals' gaining entry into the US via the lovely state of Texas? I know for a fact (in VA) when 'illegals' get here, they're granted money, foodstamps, housing, transportation...the list goes on and on..My question is Why? Why does the Federal and local government do this for them, when 'legal' Americans who are truly facing financial hardships are turned away when THEY seek the same assistance? And, isnt it, ultimately, 'legal' taxpayers 'footing the bill' for 'illegals' to get and continue receiving this 'assistance' ? In VA, they can get this assistance for up to 2 years! Also, in VA, GA and Fla, (Americans) are losing jobs because plants are moving to other countries (cheaper labor) so not only are Americans losing jobs, the same 'illegals' reaping the 'benefits' we have to 'offer' them, are also working at these plants in their 'home' country. People often say Americans are 'greedy' but isnt it because its more expensive (for us Americans) to live in the US? I dont know alot about politics...but I do know, there's definately a 'something' happening in Florida! (unemployment rates here are one of the highest in the country!) And many believe its due to these plants shutting down and/or moving to other countries. peace teddybear
