Is there such thing as fate?

I haven't been on this sight long and I have talk to some very interesting people. As the same as most, I set my mind searching for the woman of my dreams. Even though only short time I was starting to look at this sight as the same as all the others. Was as hard as it is for me to say I was dead wrong. With the women I have talked to one stands above them all. We have only been talking for a couple of days though. I've never had a connection with any other even though others were face to face with me. Her and I seem to not want to stop talking once we get started. Everything clicks. So so so much in common. Even thinking the same thoughts. I've only heard of such things like love at first sight. But love at first text confused Never ever even heard of such a thing. Others may think it may be a need of despiration. But that couldn't be farther from the truth. This woman lives on the other side of the world yet she's been here with me since we began talking. Fate? Destiny? I have always been a person that doesn't fear anything. Yet my knees are trembling. At the same time I'm loving this new feeling
Has anyone ever had this happen to them and what was the outcome?yay

I would recommend that you have a webcam so that you can both see each other while talking. Sometimes we seem to have a soul mate connection through emails and chats, but when the time comes to meet face to face...what a disappointment! I wish you the best of luck and hope that you have finally found your girl/woman/soul mate/your love.

Hi Critter,
It happened to me back in March... spent over a month speaking on e-mail, then Skype after meeting on a site.
We made a real connection so much so that I flew back to the UK to see if was real and whether there was a future in it.
Reality was better than the written word. We spent a week together, then continued on Skype when I returned.

I did two more flights to see her, and it was fantactic, but LDR is a real effort.... we managed 8 months and I was looking to re-locate..... change my whole life in fact. !

I tried really hard to hold it together, but then signs began to appear which put doubts in my mind.

Trust is the biggest issue here. You must have 100% trust.
I lost mine within a short space of time and it ended as abruptly as it started..... and boy does it hurt..... I may have made a mistake, but, that I will never know.

I wish you well with your relationship.
If you get only half of what I had you will be a very happy man.

I agree about the web cam. Her and I have discussed this very idea. But as it stands all we've have is the IM's and recently started the phone calls. I'm sorry for the guy's who didn't turn out as planned. We have started our plans on the first and second meeting already. A man with my history would never consider the notion of having a relationship in this fashion. It seems if my hands have been tied by my heart. For anyone else having remotely the same feelings for another across the world, go for it. You never know until you try. I wish you all good luck and happy huntingbeer
