Well, irrespective of the special distinctions of male and female anatomy, brain is the most important element of anyone’s body. It is connected with the functions of all other body parts and it controls your behavior and actions and makes you who you are. Your brain (mind) constitutes and controls your thinking patterns, which are the basis for labeling you as “a man” or “a woman” to the outer-world. Coz it has been established that there are distinctive behavioural patterns for men and women, which, sometimes are based on the functions of their bodies. However, let’s admit the fact that there are many humans with a body of a male but who have tendency to act or think as females and many females who acts or develop behaviour as men. This can be due to many reasons and is, invariably out of ordinary, but we have to accept them as who they are. After all, I personally believe that, if a person who adopts the behavioural patterns of the opposite gender feels comfortable in that, the outer-world has nothing to do about it.

Having said that, if someone doesn’t know that person’s own identity, it’s a very sad situation. Yes, people can help, but if someone is not sure about the “gender” of his/her, that person should take time off to think about it seriously. Why I’m saying that is, it’s nothing to do about having a short or long hair cut or wearing or not wearing jewellary or some kind of clothing traditionally entitled for the opposite gender. It’s about understanding your own mindset and your own thinking pattern, it’s about understanding who you want to be you or who you have been. All the other cosmetic objects are secondary and become immaterial. If someone can make you wonder about your own gender, even for a moment, it shows that you are yet to acquire mental stability and firmness about your own personality. So, its prudent first acquiring firmness about your personality, be it a man or a woman or something else, and not to base it on the judgment of someone else, who you randomly meet.

Well, this is not a long elaboration on understanding about "personalities". But I sincerely hope that it will help you in some form of insight.
