April 20th is a 'sorta' celebration day for many who smoke weed. Taking a toke at 4:20 on 4/20 is a ritual that got started long ago... I think it was a meeting time after school for some teenage kids that caught on. Every day at 4:20 ritual.

Sunak the UK prime minister is trying to make a new law banning anyone born after 1st Jan 2009 from ever being able to purchase cigarettes. It's been initially approved by parliament, though many of the government voted against it.
This is a stupid law that will stop certain adults ever smoking, even though they would be in the presence of other adults who can purchase cigs and smoke. Freedom of the individual is again being attacked by a meddling government.

I got to tell this...it is just too freaky not to tell.

Okay, on Monday, my dad and I go to the Chinese restaurant to eat. As we pay, as usual, they give us 2 fortune cookies.

I never open those things. I usually just put them in my car and they get thrown away.

Last night, Tuesday. I had this weird dream...one that woke me up in which I could not go back to sleep. I have not had one of these types of dreams in years. Somebody shot me in the face with a shotgun. I never had a dream like that.

Anyway, today...I am out visiting family. I went to my car for some reason and as I was in my car, I decided to grab the fortune cookies. I gave one to my brother and I opened the other.

I never told my brother nothing about anything. He reads the fortune I gave him....to himself...and he insists that fortune is mine. I am curious, so I go over and grab it from him and it reads, "your dream is going to come true."

....freaked the shit out of me.

My most recent relationship failed after 4 days of being together. I think what I did wrong was…nothing. At this point I have learned enough from dating to know what not to do. I’m over it. If a man doesn’t want to invest his time into me then he’s not worth it. I’m back with a vengeance. Lol not really. It just sounded cool to say. I’m back with a cool air. Keep it low key they say. You don’t want to be high maintenance now they say. Guess what? I do not care. I know I’m not high maintenance. If I appear any way at any given moment it was just how I was feeling at that moment. I’m so tired of not being able to be myself. That’s all I feel relationships are. Gotta be someone else to hook em’. No I do not. I highly disagree. You get to the point where you date so much that being alone takes on a whole new meaning. In a sense that you can have peace and freedom…and happiness. It’s possible and I’m not going to let anyone tell me differently.

I get joy now doing things for myself. The last 5 days my resting heart rate has lowered from pushing myself in the gym daily. I signed up for a CPR course on Friday so that I can advance professionally. I’m doing things that are important to my mental health and growth. It’s a real challenge just to keep the environment around me clean. It’s a daily struggle. I get a sense of fulfillment when I actually do keep it clean. I may not be where everyone else is in life but feeling my own sense of achievement is what’s important to me. I don’t compare anymore. I can’t. It gets me down every time.

Oh and I have long flowing mermaid hair again. Very happy about that. And there are no knots. Lol. Having hair this long can get stinking difficult.

Happenings in the music room. Everything is in slings because a new electrical circuit is being ran through to the next room. In the chaos though, I figured out a better arrangement for the music room for once everything is finished and back in place again.

Managed to fk my left shoulder yesterday shoveling. To anyone who lives south and want to see snow, its a total nuisance. Its nice to look at but a headache to deal with. Within the last week, 5 separate snowplows have went off the road here in my small area alone because the snow we got was too much to deal with. Apparently, the word is that the whole government department right down to the plow drivers are holding meetings to figure out what happened because the plow going off the road in these parts is unheard of here, let alone 5. The snow was very wet, heavy, dense, and wind packed. Sticking the shovel in it was like trying to shovel through sugar that got damp and stuck together.
