I have nothing against Islam. It is the Jihadists that worry me. And those who think what is happening in Israel is something local and isolated, better have another think. It is part of something much bigger.

Israel only appears to be a hotbed because they are more successful against the Jihadists. But open your eyes and look around. You'll find them all over. To name just a few locations, I can start with countries like Syria, Lebanon, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Mali, Niger, Nigeria, Congo, Kenya, Somalia and, not long ago, as far south as Mozambique. This list is not nearly complete.

Europe and the Americas only think they're safe. It's already sticking its head out in France. Belgium, Denmark and Sweden also had problems with these Jihadists while the USA had their hands full with Al Qaeda. We remember 911 all too well.

On their own they appear as local and unrelated insurgencies but collectively they become a global catastrophe and I think those who don't see what's going on, don't want to see it.

Of course, I may be paranoid. I grew up in a country where we were spooked with all kinds of dangers. There were the black danger, the red danger, the yellow danger and any other conceivable danger but that does not mean that I'm wrong. As Adrian Monk said: "I may be wrong but I don't think so."

The other day a neighbor asked me if I could take her to the Verizon store in town because she didn't have transportation at the time and she wanted to get a new phone for her husband who was getting hard of hearing and their phone didn't have enough volume for him. She already had a smart phone. So, off we went. We got to the store and a very nice salesman asked if he could help us. We sat at his desk and the business of obtaining another phone began. He had his smart phone which he was using instead of a computer and she had her smart phone out and using it to get the info he was seeking as I sat there silently watching these 2 conducting their business both paying more attention to their phones than to each other, a sudden urge came over me that I had been transported way into the future to a world I was very unfamiliar with. All I could think of was getting away from this place. I guess I was so deep in my thoughts that I just blurted out "I wanna go home." "But we just got here." the woman said and the salesman looked at me like I was a retard. "No, not back to the house, I wanna go back to the 50's when people looked at each other when they talked, I wanna walk around Central Park, I wanna ride my bike, I wanna go across the street to "Baldies" candy store and get a Coke in a green glass bottle, I wanna go fishing in Castle Lake." I wanna hear "Rock Around the Clock", I wanna see Jack Benny." I felt the tears welling up in my eyes and got up and said I'll be outside in the car and walked out of the store.
I went out to the car and sat behind the wheel and wept like a baby. Where did it all go? Where are all my friends? How did I get here? Is this what we all wished for? I felt lost. I wonder where Danny is? Oh yeah, he died a couple of years ago, Cancer. His older brother Jesse the same. Jimmy must be pretty old by now, he's probably dead too. Rudy jumped out of a 4th floor window because he couldn't kick a Heroin habit. Just about everyone I knew as a kid were dead.
A few minutes later my neighbor came out of the store and we went home. "Are you ok to drive?" she asked. "Yeah I'm fine'. I said and we drove back and I dropped her off at her house.

Warning, this is not a lovey dovey blog.
I was raised to think kindly of all. Be helpful , non-biased, non racist and accept people as they are. Give everyone the benefit of the doubt. Be polite.
But, as this world has evolved, I am getting more hate filled towards people.
Once those of a different persuasion just existed in the back ground. Live and let live. Now everything is shoved in my face.
Blacks were around some. Whatever. Store clerk, professional, news caster. I was not really aware of them being black. Or Chinese or Mexican or whatever. A restaurant here was owned by a gay man. My first belly dancing teacher was gay. It was one of those things we knew and ignored.
Today blacks riot. Gays march. People DEMAND we acknowledge them. Promote them. Glorify them. You know what? It is having the opposite effect. I no longer listen to the black news caster without noticing his race. Or the Mexican cook. Or cross dressing man.
I am starting to resent them all. Just leave me alone! Stop screaming at me to pat you on the head for being. I do not walk down the street naked. Do not fondle and tongue kiss in public. Don't stand on a soap box and yell my beliefs at you. Dont smash your front window because you dont sell me stuff at half price.
So realize all this diversity shoved at me IS turning me bias, prejudiced, racist, anti gay and all of it.
Just go back to being one of those people living their lives and respecting me living mine.

God help us if he is elected to a second term. I hope everyone else in the blogs will stand up for the USA citizens' security, economy and freedoms come this November.

I hope the best for him in his private life but I cannot vote for this guy. Let someone else who understands the difference of missions for Ukraine and Gaza.....

Unbelievable this guy is the leader of the USA government: Biden announced that the United States is "providing airdrops of food and other supplies into Ukraine."

The White House immediately corrected Biden's announcement: "He meant Gaza."

I love America and our Culture. I would like to see America’s culture remain unchanged. I do not want to see Marxism in my country.

The Idea of America Lives in Americans not in illegal immigrants who have no knowledge of our history or laws. They broke our laws just being here.

Much to my shock I'm horrified to find out asylum seekers/migrants/refugees are entitledallowed to vote in our up coming referendum 8th/march

Although I know I'm registered nevertheless, I checked earlier to be sure...
Don't know why or how but turns out there is an error with my PPS number, which means I may not be registered at all, so if like me you care about your country and you plan to vote a double NO NO, don't take your registration for granted, be certain you ARE.

The deadline for registering and updating your details is 20th February.

Can you believe this sheet? i don't either.

We are under attack and on our own. Our infrastructure won't handle another 100 million people expected here in the next couple of years (air water food transportation.) The world is screwed when we go down. Support your County Sheriffs and local LEO's (Law Enforcement Officers.) The U.S. Sheriffs want to do their jobs protecting us, even though our current Federal admin won't. Educate yourselves.
