EliteOne: I bet you get laughed at allot.
Actually Mr. Elite, the laughter, while heard, does nothing to negate the truth of what we know. While you might think it to cause anger, it only causes frustration, as we understand you laugh out of not knowing a very simple truth.

I have severe reactions whenever a democrat politician opens their mouth, or I read anything they claim to be of their glory. The most difficult part of it is that, I can't avoid coming into contact with its oppressive results. Its everywhere, and there are so many to lazy, or uncaring to even clean it up.

Just to get my say in on this health care issue then I will calmly walk back out.

I have worked my whole life. Raised two sons without the aid or support of their father or the welfare system. I never could afford health insurance. I did pay for all medical needs out of pocket. Believe it or not it was cheaper without insurance. The medical costs are higher for the insured. The hospital has a financial counselor that will help make arrangements for the larger and more difficult bills.

Now with the passage of the health care reform the hospital help will disappear. Obama says he will make it a law that people have to buy health insurance. I make just under $900 a month. Health insurance will cost me over $600 a month for me and my son. Not to mention all my other bills. How can the average American afford this coverage. NOW!!!!! I will really be in trouble if myself or my son get sick or injured.

Way to go, you brain damaged arrogant politicians.[/quote]
Thanks for your post candio, along with its uplifting inspiration that, WE ARE AMERICA supporting the "brain damaged arrogant politicians", and ilk.

Have been collecting stamps for years, and now spending time between safety deposit box, and home, getting my ad ready to sell them. Hate to do it, but the Obamanation, and democrat monopoly, have left this disabled guy with no other choice. Its either that, and stay in my home, or give in to their collective process of the elderly, disabled, and low income, for their own prosperity.

seveneyes: If you judge yourself can you really say that the good you did was more than the bad or nuetral? No one honestly can. At judgement day you will walk away from heaven because you feel unworthy of it. You will self condemn.

Somehow you think that your dees are what entitles you to heaven or hell because you think that this is what the bible teaches. It is not what the bible teaches, yet you will stand before God and argue that you were basically a good person to no avail. Knowing him is what matters and accepting/acknowledging him. We cannot be justified by our own works sir.
You won't stand before God, seveneyes. You will either be embraced of God, or not. Your choices in life are deciding that, with every choice you make, and each person is recording, and keeping a record that cannot be hidden, or destroyed.

Son of a gun mastic, you ain't done, we're just getting started! I'm disabled, and I'm sure not getting anywhere fast with this internet connections thing. I do not place a lot of confidence in connection with the love of my life here, but there are a lot of people with similar loves, and I like reading, hearing, and learning from them. Even better then that, there are some wing nuts out there I just love watching spin on their stripped treads. laugh

ladichatterlee: Where do you get your figures from? No one I know is satisfied with their health insurance program.

You might want to pay attention!

Gallup: 80% satisfied with health care, 61% with insuranceposted at 3:35 pm on September 23, 2009 by Ed Morrissey

Read the following from a study done in 2007.

Health Care Reform: What Do Americans Want? (Or Think They Want?)
Maggie Mahar, The Century Foundation

"On the surface, it seems that American voters have made their will clear. Poll after poll shows that they are calling for a major overhaul of our health care system.
But when you look closer, their responses bristle with contradictions and discrepancies that I think the reform-minded presidential candidates will have to consider when deciding how to approach health care reform.

In a poll reported in Health Affairs at the end of last year, sixty-nine percent of respondents rated the US system as “fair” or “poor.” Yet in the same survey, when asked about their own experience with receiving medical services or with their own physician, 80 percent who had received care in the last year ranked their care as “excellent” or ”good.”

Other polls reveal the same pattern.

According to a survey released by Greenberg Quinlan Rosner in July, voters express doubts about the quality of the American health care system (with 49 percent dissatisfied), while 74 percent were dissatisfied with the cost. Yet, “at another, more personal level,” the pollsters note, “a slightly different picture emerges. Fully eight in ten (82 percent) describe themselves as satisfied with the quality of the health care they receive personally. This number jumps to 90 percent among seniors (64 percent very satisfied), but includes impressive majorities of nearly all groups…”

YouMeUs: I'm looking for the day we all can say "we won't get fooled again." One can only hope and time will most surely tell.
You can probably keep hoping "for the day", but "hope" is exactly what has allowed Americans to be fooled, over, and over again. Hope is powerless without an action taken to fulfill those hopes, and as you just saw with passage of this health care debacle, the enslaved tax payers will be taking those actions to fulfill the hopes. How those hopes will be justified is now before the senate, and we will see if the voice of proportions hopes are fulfilled, or the American majority bound to fulfill those hopes. "A fool and his money are soon parted!"
