scousedon: Sorry mate but emotions are emotions and you just cant rationalise them. I fear that whatever is said by friends, family and strangers on here the emotions are going to kick in, no matter what we say you will find some justification always for giving her that extra chance. Until you move on and find someone that really wants and deserves you, you are stuck in this rut.

Ok I can rationalize with this. The first time I sent her away it was partially because I was with another woman. But at the same time any other woman I have dated that do seem to be a compatible match for me either didn't intrest me or left before there was a chance. Dating has become almost obsolete at this point I feel. Any advice on trying new approach's with new women?

So wait. Youre saying maybe it's what I need is someone like this? Im a little confused by your last statement. I know "WTF do I know" But being that i am a patient person willing to love, do i wait for her still? Should I just look at her changing of the mind as who she is and accept it and just keep trying. Or are you still suggesting that I seperate myself from her?

So I have an ex-wife of whom I have a child with. 2 years ago she left me, broken hearted and upset. Time went on and eventually i came to terms with myself that she may not ave been the right one. Then after about 1 year she comes back crying and begging for me back. I politely tried to explain to her that we were young when me and her got married, and that me and her jumping back into a relationship would be to tough on me. And that me and her would need to take time to get to know each other better. So she decided to get back together with her ex boyfriend, saying that what I told her hurt her and made her feel like I didn't want her. Now 2 years after the divorse she is back at me gain. This time I gave in. I decided that maybe me and her could work. She tells me she wants to be with me, and to grow old and spend the remainder of our time together on this earth. Things were ok...... for 4 days. Now she comes to me with this "I haven't been alone scince before me and you got married. I think we shouldn't do this anymore." Now I love this girl I really do. But my heart is breaking again and i'm very confused. How could someone change teir mind so often and never pay the consequences for it? Is it healthy for me to love her? Should I try to find a way to not love her and unattach myself from her emotionally? And if so will someone offer me guidence on how I should go about that?

Do you not have moments where you want to put your hand through the screen and drag that person out and slap a bit of sense into them?

Or is it just me who has days where I want to trottle someone when I read such drivel on some of the threads

Jan1305: Well the way I look at it women are like video games. They can be really fun to play, but once you beat it, the games just no fun anymore. So my advise. Become unbeatable. And if you didn't understand that. Make him think that everyday has to be something different to keep your attention. Even though you are happy he finally got

Doesn´t the same behaviour work in reverse?

Women get bored too ya know!

Damn knew I was doing something wrong!confused
