I've got that 'sinking' feeling.............

Yesterday I got my mum a tv for her bedroom.

Today I got her a cable box installed.

I worked all day on admin shit for her and her wellbeing..........

I worked hard - both mentally and physically

All I got back was she didn't like what I cooked her for lunch

Bums!

In times (the passing of a lifetime partner) like these Rusty I would imagine your Mum is reflecting on her life and although things being done for her are appreciated perhaps her mind is occupied elsewhere hug

Why do some people like to take on the role of God?

31st October 2006 - my youngest nephew died aged 21

12th October 2007 - my brother died aged 60

14th August 2008 - my dad died

My youngest son's mother - what right does/did she have to prevent him ever meeting any of these people - let alone his half-brother or even his legitimate father?

Control freaks have no right --- that they will eventually find out when the one they are trying to control - breaks free

poised, powder yellow spear heads, edged mit tinges of lilac
seemingly wait, for deep sun kisses to open and display their treasured fruits
birds sing their songs to a sweeter pitch- perched amongst Jacarandas budding toward their bunched array
longer days- warmer nights--- yes the hints of Spring are here yay

I will admit that in the ideal relationship for me, the man will be the dominant party, but he has to earn that right, it´s not a given. If a woman makes better decisions, is more intelligent and in general handles life better then her partner why would she submit to him being the dominant party in a relationship?

So for the men who want to be the dominant partner in a relationship it comes down to this, get your shit together, show the woman in your life that you are as capable or more capable of running the life you share and allow her to give you the position instead of trying to take it.
thumbs up

--- For the last 35 yrs my trips to the dentist have been and exercise in looking at pain- I have not used anesthetic .fillings/root canal replacement of toxic amalgam etc
I have noticed through discussion and total understanding of the procedure to be undertaken And limited communication, during ie eyes ,groans the dentist takes more care . Also the small amount of pain experienced is short lived much more so than the uncomfortable possibly toxic injections and their aftermath

The ridiculous thing is I recently needed an extraction for this yes my bravery waned and I accepted anesthetic--- yep ! you guessed it --- wrong tooth laugh dunno crying
