HotrodLarrys: If the answer is No, then How Could you Love God, without seeing Him?

Just thought this was a Good discussion, As it is an unanswered Question at the moment, Just wanted to hear others who may have experienced this! OR NOT? Please have respect! And maybe we can all learn something

Falling in love? hmm I'm going to say yes, because in this crazy world, anything is possiblerolling on the floor laughing rolling on the floor laughing rolling on the floor laughing

Do I think I can love someone before I meet them? Definitely for sure. I think there is a big difference however, in loving someone and falling in love with them. (if that makes sense..lol)

Englishman55: Kind of dissagree with you there Da10th.
I beleive in making our own luck, and thats what you did.
You saw a connection and you persued her, she reciprocated and now you have each other.

The only luck was being on the same website, and you both made that move too.

Best wishes to you both for the future meet. I hope it goes well for you.

Well, in all honesty, she pursued me through an intermediary. Without her initiative, it probably never would be what it is today. Thankyou for your wishes.handshake

They are. There are always going to be some that try and start un-necessary drama, but, such is life. I am confident in how I feel about her so, drama can come, but with time it goes too.
Thankyou though.hug handshake

luvlife2: It has been studied that when a girl is little, she needs the affection and attention from the father to show her how a man is supposed to treat a woman,to give her the confidence she needs! but if she does not have that closeness with a father growing up,do you think that is why so many girls have sex too early and too often with guys who really dont care for her,,just because she is searching for that closeness she did not recieve as a child??

JUST WONDERING WHAT EVERYONES VIEW WOULD BE ON THE SUBJECT!

It honestly could be any number of reasons with that one included in the mix.

BrunoMcMahon: A freind pointer out the other day that the main thing he saw being done by the cash for clunkers program was taking used cars off the market the poor would be able to afford.

The program helps mainly the "haves" not the have nots. The folks that have the money/credit to go out and buy a new car already.

The US Auto industry? maybe but what percentage of the cars sold were built in the US anyway.

The poor, as usual, can go fry ice.

I'm sure there are plenty more clunkers out there for the poor to buy. I doubt the laws of supply & demand where upset that greatly.

Scubadiva: Hmmm... Would you not weigh the quality of the person's answers against your experience, or perhaps common sense? What I'm getting at is how much weight do give your desire to have a relationship with the person versus the weight you attribute to the quality of their reasons.

Less convoluted: .. you really want the relationship, her reasons sound a bit bogus, do you trust her anyway?

Oh well, if her reasons sounded way out there, and unfounded, then yes, common sense would easily prevail over trust because I would have simply felt what she was either saying was decieving or condensending, both of which would give me a reason to not trust her.

I wouldn't simply follow her with blind eyes. Thankyou for actually pointing that out.thumbs up

oldpunk: Same here. I was "downloading" 80s metal bands like Anthrax and Testament the other day and saw their name and got Epic, it still sounds pretty good.

What's funny is, I can remember watching that video as a kid and my jaw just dropping to the ground because it was basically in it's own genre and a groundbreaking sound with the rap/rock mix like that.

Found it odd it took like 10 years for bands like Limp Bizkit to try & replicate it.

The video for Epic in my opinion was genius.

rosalind187: Very good choices, I must say. Faith no more is a must as is Metallica and ac/dc. And as far as slayer goes.... all I have to say is Reign in Blood.

Haven't heard them in ages. Just played Epic thouggh for old times sake

Ralf74: Of course there are exceptions to every rule but generally speaking, what qualities do you admire in the opposite sex?

I really like the fact that men are not bitchy, they have their spat and get over it and don't hold grudges.

Absolute # 1 thing for me is intelligence. I don't want to be talking to a rock. I don't want the sole brain teaser of the day to consist of whether to chew bubblicious or bubble yum.

Scubadiva: Good answer. It isn't exactly easy to decide how to deal with this issue. Just for the sake of discussion, what would you say if the person's reasons (and you're only getting one side of the story, mind) are different in each case. I.e. no pattern?

well, if i was thinking of being in a relationship with them, i'd take them for their word because, honestly, I trust people until they give me a reason not too and if I'm at the point where i want to be in a relationship with that person, then i need to trust them because they afterall, are going to have a part of my heart and that is only given to those again, that I trust.

Ralf74: Well here I am, it is 2.53am and I am wide awake. I have been like this for months. I only get a couple of hrs sleep a night. I am not stressed, I have only 1 coffee a day first thing in the morning and I am very active throughout the day...I should be able to sleep!!! I have been on sleeping tablets but I don't want to take them coz they zonk me out the next day. I have tried herbal sleep teas, reading and warm baths. Nothing seems to work except those damn tablets. The only thing that I can put it down to is the amount of exercise I am doing. I am at the gym 5 days a week with 3 personal training sessions and 2 boxing sessions, so I am going through a really full on regime. I am also B12, Vitamins C & D deficient. I am getting monthly injections for the B12. My diet is average and I eat mostly healthy and I currently have no added sugar (or substitutes).

Any advice would be greatly appreciated, especially if we have anybody in the medical field that could help me out. I am functioning on the little sleep I get but I am afraid the infomercials in the middle of the night might bore me to death.

Ralf74: I have wondered about how people come up with their usernames. My name is actually Jodie and my username stems from a nickname I had at school, juvenile, I know but I don't have much imagination. The story goes...I was at a beach party when I was a teenager and had way too many to drink and apparently I was crawling down the beach absolutely heaving my guts up (ralfing) to everyone's amusement. Well word got around school as to what went down and I became the legend at school known as Ralf. I became that famous that most kids didn't even know my real name. I had kids from all year levels coming up to me "hi Ralf" on a daily basis, kids I didn't even know. I have 4 younger siblings so as they progressed through school the legend stuck around for quite a while.

So that is my story, anyone else wish to share?

I have been using this name for about 10 years now. The10thmountaindivision is too long, so I dumbed it down to Da10th. 10th Mountain Division is the unit in which I served in the U.S. Army.
