Well my most annoying question is frustrated

When someone asks me what do u drink etc....wine

ANd I say " No thank u I don't drink" blushing

Then the BIG question-------------> WHY? frustrated


very mad

I guess they assume there must be some juicy story behind why I don't drink! dunno

SO now what I do to solve my problem, I always speak to the bartender before my seating, and tell them "my special" please!

And problem solved -------> 7up with a twist of lemon that the bartender knows since I had arranged it teddybear

KHD100: My sons and daughter hoped I would allow myself to be happy and loved by someone special.

It's tiresome being laid off ... was laid off 4 weeks ago ... Was able to get some interviews, but when 70+ people apply for the same office job, I feel I was lucky to be called back for 2nd and 3rd interviews.

Good luck Dawn. Hope you will find something, and then someone will take notice as to how awesome you truly are.


Thank u KHD100 bouquet Laid off is nasty for sure, but I stop & think many are in my shoes, which some have children to support etc... At least mine are gone & married and have only myself to worry about grin

Hoping to find something soon at least before June or I will be returning to the Falls again uncertain

Loner1960: A irritation I have, is when I spend some time constructing a response to a forum or a letter to someone. And just when I going to post it, my dailup connection disconnects. And my masterpeice disappears into the either.

As for myself, my girls would love to see me in someone Life they remind me it is time to think of myself since I put that part on hold to raise my girls etc...I have no regret at all, it was a fantastic ride raising my girls heart beating

Since I lost my career of 15 yrs+, as many have because of closure. I have relocated at least a few times to work, this is my third time being laid off, so I may have another move.

Until I feel I am settled, then maybe it will be time to consider dating, or if they still call it dating rolling on the floor laughing rolling on the floor laughing

But until then I enjoy this site & the people teddybear

Singleguy49: My ex after being apart for 5 years told me she quit searching for someone because she can't find a replacement for me . I was at the point of stopping to search because many people pretend to like or be something they're not . The only reason she ever became my ex was she didn't get a medication to help her cope with life . Violent actions took her over and I had enough . I saw her last night for the first time , she hugged me , shed tears , apologized and wouldn't let go of me . I told her that we need to remain friends . When you put your heart , body and soul into a relationship , you'd expect the same in return . So now I just sit quietly and figure people out and protect who I am as a person .

Brew01: How about going to the store to pick up one item, and you get stuck behind someone with 1 or two items, but then starts naming off the million different kinds of lottery tickets they buy, and then, they stand there counting out all of their dimes and nickels (one at a time) to pay for them...
