Old letters and cards and such i put in a sealed bag and look at every once in a while. Some of the gifts i have sitting around my house or in my bedroom. I won't put those away. If i'm dating someone and he should ask where i got them i'm honest and say. I don't display these things to remind me of my past loves. I display them because they are beautiful and should be seen.

I just had a first date yesterday afternoon. We met at the mall for lunch. The lunch was great the date was horrible. D'oh! I swear i've never had the run of horrible dates i've been having in my life. Something's outta whack somewhere. frustrated I usually meet someone for coffee or a drink at a neighborhood bar i feel comfortable at. Miniature golf, Ice cream and sit outside and talk and eat, a fair or festival would be a great time with enuf distractions but not too many. I won't do movies for the same reason as everyone else. Whatever we choose to do i make sure it's not a long planned out event. If we aren't clicking i don't wanna be stuck for hrs with them and i'm sure they feel the same.help

rolling on the floor laughing Touche Duncan. You're a worthy opponent. For everyone else, I'd like to restate the fact that I named no one specifically. So for those of you taking this personally...chill, it's just the forums baby. yay

In response to:
I hate bad spelling, but these are my friends, and amongst friends, they can spell as badly as they want.

When you ask your friends (who are not of the same mother tongue as you) to speak correct English. Then can you first speak their language well enough to be understood?

Just because you cannot spell correctly or put the grammar in the right order does not mean that you cannot be my ideal person.

In fact, as long as you try, then I will love you even more.

As a guide, and a friendly piece of info, having a gripe about spelling on a site that is mainly derived from words on a page, not words from your mouth, might not be very popular.
Well first and foremost, I am 37 yrs old and popularity concerns for me went out in high school. When a language barrier prevents proper spelling, well that's obviously understandable. I didn't single anyone out and I consider people in here my friends also. I've been here for quite some time but have been away for the past few months so i'm not a newbie and I know how the forums work. Maybe posting a thread if women like big dongs or not is more forum suitable so forgive my lack of etiquette. This is what forums are all about. Different individuals grips, sorrows, questions, silliness, loves and anything else they care to share with kind people all over the world. Whether you agree with my grip or not, it still fits into the forums. That's the beauty of it all..you don't have to agree with me or anyone elses opinion in here but judgement and bashing of ones opinion probably shouldn't be in the forums. That's a guide and a friendly piece of info for ya. Oh and btw, I took the time to look up two words I wasn't sure of the spelling on. Only took 30seconds. Take care my friend and i'm sorry we had to meet for the first time in this manner. I'm Amy and welcome to the forums. hug

Spelling! Why is it so hard for some? Why don't they ever use spell check or a dictionary? Is it because they actually believe words are spelled the way they have them or is it pure laziness? confused Correct spelling does make a difference and why wouldn't you want to put your best foot forward when you're typing up a profile on a dating site, starting a thread or answering a post or whatever you're doing that other people are going to read or if you happen to be trying to impress someone? dunno I realize this isn't everyone's pet peeve and there's nothing wrong with that. However, this is my rant and rave for the day. mumbling Anyone else have something that mystifies them? Share! hug

tompsy boy......you say its been four years......why.....you say others say youre attractive....but do you believe in yourself......you can have a million women say you look good.....but if you think youre nothing.....then you will be nothing....

you say....you feel like youre not human....you are not ready to be with a woman......you need serious help .....talk to a doctor about this.....no one here can help you...

you ask me ...why are you alone.....well you just said the words....white trash women.....so you think some women are trash...

ill tell you what i think....you have been feeling sorry for yourself....for a very long time.....its gotten to the point......where you think...you are nothing.....where you are actually starting to hate women....because they dont want you...

it is time to change.......love life.....dont hate it...so youre single....so what.....its not the end of the world...

now you can read this....and choose to get angry ....and stay alone for the rest of your life...

or....you can....get some help....and turn your life around.....and meet someone....when youre actually happy with yourself....

you choose kid...

no need to thank me.....its my pleasure....
Wow Wave that was a wonderful and very helpful post. I think you hit it dead on. (especially that white trash comment) head banger Besides, no man or woman is going to make you happy if you can't make urself happy. Sometimes a relationship is more trouble than it's worth so be careful what you wish for. grin

I have been in contact with a younger lady who is drop dead gorgeous and looks like a model. She wants to meet. Somthing tells me this is to good to be true. Any advice? oh and she say's she hasn't dated since she was 16.
If ya have to ask then u probably already know what u wanna do. scold With online dating, if you ever get that "feeling" something's not quite right then it isn't. Plain and simple. Doesn't matter if she's drop dead gorgeous. I'd cut my losses and bail. thumbs down

i can say he doesnt want to mess up any thing in the military because it is security for his 3 boys. he hates his ex ... who doesn't but i read in the military adultry article1 130 that its ok for him to be with someone else as long as he is legally seperated and he is. but when his ex cheated on him with another guy in the military he had an investigation summed on the other soldier so because of that he has to get investigated if he see's someone else. ijust really don't know if i want to talk with other guys or just wait my heart tells me to wait but my mind says move on. but it just seems like everytime i start to talk to someother guy i feel guilty and i pull away, is that common for my feelings or childish?

Ok no one's picking up on the fact that they've only dated for 2 weeks prior to the separation. When u make a connection with someone, heck yeah everything's viewed thru rose colored glasses. It's new, exciting, wonderful and full of possibilities. If i've only known someone for 2 weeks and all this drama has taken place already and I already know this guys very personal relationship info i'd run for the hills. There's no commitment here so heck yeah talk to other guys, have fun, explore ur possibilities and when all this drama is done and over and he's still interested then pursue it but don't limit urself and take on someone elses baggage. If u think this drama will end when his divorce is final the rose colored glasses probably need to come off. This sounds like a bitter bitter divorce with a long road ahead because of the kids involved. You need to be realistic take this very slow. It's way too soon for u to limit urself or put ur life on hold for just him. I know u probably won't like a word i just said but I'm almost 37 with many dating yrs behind me and too many times learning lessons the hard way. Life is too dang short to pine for someone and live with so many "what ifs". Best of luck and love to u and him.
