I have been on this website for just over a year now and met a few nice people. I have decided to do dating the good old fashion way as I have had limited luck with the on-line dating thing. Nevertheless I have made a few friends on this site and I will continue to correspond with them per e-mail, etc.

To the ones that have been very nice to me (too many to mention names), thank you and I wish you well.

Amarula is a proudly South African liqueur. Claayer I am amazed that you know what it is, is it available in UK? I bought and couriered a few bottles to some of my CS friends for Christmas last year.

I can speak 3 languages fluently (with Afrikaans being my home language) and another 2 fairly.

But in South Africa we have 11 official languages and most people are not fluent in English.

With Zimbabwe being our (South Africa) neighbours we see daily how the lives of poor people are influenced by a brainless ruler. Thousands of Zimbabweans flock to South Africa hence the recent xenophobic attacks here.

The worst part is that the South African government does not want to intervene in Zimbabwe. It is very sad to see a once beautiful country going up in smoke and now South Africa is going the same direction.

As soon as I finish my MBA I am off to US or Australia.

Just extended my house with over 2000 sq feet. The new roof is leaking badly and I have to take the building contractor to court to come and fix it.


Since I am a bachelor, I though of sealing off all the glass sliding doors and turning it into an indoor pool, while waiting for the contraqctor to fix the roofs...........grin
