We are having a "Safe Spring Break" week for my university. It is run by a student organization so we have a very minimal budget. We are thinking of a carnival, or something of the sort, where all the games would be played using fatal vision (drunk) goggles. Do any of you have ideas about games, booths,or other event ideas? The themes should be related to safety reminders needed when going on spring break. I.E. Sexual safety, drugs and alcohol, use of sunscreen. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Quite a few of the other local forums have several posts, conversations, local get togethers, etc. Seems like Oklahoma is lagging behind. Is anyone else interested in having conversations with locals?

"I CAN'T ABANDON HER" ....oh yes,but he could abandon me. rolling eyes laugh

I ate shower food while fixing it for tomorrow's shindig; itty bitty sandwiches, veggies, pasta shells with strawberry cream cheese, washed down with punch (non-alcoholic, would be good with some vodka though!)

I'll be so glad when this friggin' thing is over!

For supper I made this dish:

It contains ground chuck browned to a rich flavor in an onion glaze. The sauce is then reddened with a tomatoe condiment to a delicate color of perfection. A small dash of fine vinegar is added for a tangy sharpeness. This is combined with a sweet and granulated powder from the canes of a distant land, married with a delicate aldente pasta. Then it is seasoned with an age old combination of spices to a perfected taste. Served in hot bowl, the steamy flavored aroma filling the house with a succulent ambrosia of taste bud teasing messengers of tempting decadence.

This fine Southern gourmet dish is known as"Sweet Meat-n-Noodles!"

Anyone know how much time we spend on the internet? Average.

I read somewhere that the average american spends 9 hours a day watching tv, on the internet, and on a cell phone.

man, TV dinners are starting to sound really good!!!!!

Made me think of this song..my dad was always singing it around the house.dancing

Zz Top - TV Dinners Lyrics

Tv dinners there's nothin' else to eat
Tv dinners they really can't be beat
I like 'em frozen but you understand
I throw 'em in and wave 'em and I'm a brand new man oh yeah!

Tv dinners they're goin' to my head
Tv dinners my skin is turnin' red
Twenty year old turkey in a thirty year old tin
I can't wait until tomorrow.... And thaw one out again oh yeah!

Tv dinners I'm feelin' kinda rough
Tv dinners this one's kinda tough
I like the enchiladas and the teriaki too
I even like the chicken if.... The sauce is not too blue.

And they're mine, all mine, oh yeah
And they sure are fine.
Gotta have 'em
Gimme somethin' now.dancing
