Ladies some really great advice here. But it doesn't lessen the fact that its freaking consuming me. Its like a perpetual 24 hour stomach ache. Ugh

Most likely. I am willing to wait for someone like this but i have no control over this. Can't control who you're attracted to. And before any of you say I like her ONLY because she's younger, my ex was only 2 years younger than me.

She said that she likes me a lot but that she isn't ready to have children till she is at least 30. That is another six years and she mentioned at that time I'd be 44. I don't think I will look any different at 44 maybe even be in better physical condition. But I think she thinks my plumbing won't work any more. :(

Yeah, this is true but from the time I've spent with her she is really into making her parents happy. I mean, REALLY!!!

Plus she just got out of a relationship 6 months ago like myself but I'm ready to move on. I guess she is not.

SUCKS ASS.

I guess its my own doing really. I always put career and financial achievements ahead of relationships. Not that I was ever a bad boyfriend or anything like that. Just the opposite, I give the world to whom ever I'm with. I would give you the shirt off my back. Emotionally I'm a romantic man, a caring man, I know women. But unfortunately I was always never thinking about settling down. Now that I met somebody who rocked my damn world with her awesomeness its ripped from my grasp just as the fire inside me was burning its brightest.

Damn it to hell.

And no, I cannot be her friend. If we were to meet under different circumstances maybe but I have already invested my heart into it romantically.

I hate this feeling, its like a huge weight on your shoulders and you can't catch your breath.

Unfortunately after 2 months and several wonderful conversations and dates, what I thought was going great she tells me that her mother and father think I'm to old for her. I have been looking for this woman my whole life, she is a perfect match for me. She tells me that after speaking with her parents that she realized that we could not work out.

WTF, we were working out fine and we have everything in common.

Ugh, what ever. I'm sick to my stomach. I'm 38 and she is 23. But I don't look 38, am in great shape and have a great career. She is educated as well, beautiful and amazing.

I'm really fucking upset. No rest for the weary, my search continues. She still wants to see me as a friend but its just to painful.

I'm such an idiot.

I "want" all the time and I'm happy as hell. Its the inability to be happy with what you have and realizing that you can "want" and "work" for what you "want" but to be realistic about what it is that you "want"

Only morons think life sucks because they can't have what they want. Just my opinion.
