Scott Kalitta died today in the 4th and final round of qualifying. There is more information on the NHRA website.

The racing world lost one of the greats today.

Thoughts and Prayers go out to Scott's family and friends.

NO FUN AT SUMMER SCHOOL!!!! it is mostly for the kids who need to make up classes so they are not held back a grade...some take it so they can graduate early....

I spoke to my son a few hours ago...he just got back from being a camp helper for children with disabilities...I was shocked to hear that when asked...most of these children are left home alone during the summer....one girl said that if she dropped the remote for the TV then that was the channel she had to watch until someone came home....she is in a wheelchair and cannot bend over to pick it up or lean close enough to the TV to change the channel....

My computer crashed on Monday...I have it back up and running BUT...

I can not get my printer to work...the drivers were lost and I have downloaded them from the website (cause I can't find the stinking disk that came with the stinking printer laugh )

My computer is not able to see that the printer is connected to it...I have tried to move it to a different port and everything I can think of....


is there anyone here that can help????moping

Actually... no. He was in my own backyard the whole time...LOL...he lived less than 5 miles from me all this time....dunno go figure.....rolling on the floor laughing

HA HA HA!!!! I didn't think about the timing much til now....I guess that is about the time that I went "missing"... the get together was a blast...not many showed up though...but we had a wonderful time...I was very happy to have the chance to meet such wonderful people.

as for me, I have a great fella and we spend as much time together as we can...we both have very busy work schedules and even though we live together, we don't get too much time together... that will change soon I hope...

I am off to try and get some sleep now...it has been a long day.

as for drinking baby formula....YUCK!!!!!!!!!!

I couldn't hardly stand the smell of it when my kids were little...I sure wouldn't drink it myself....

Sounds like this girl needs a reality check.....AND FAST TOO!!!!!!!!!
