First of all it's much better to be single and happy than miserable and in a bad relationship..
Although at times it can be lonely , I think the best way for singles to stay positive is to keep busy... do something you like, like a hobby, hang out with your friends, spend time with family..meet new people *hint*handshake ... LIVE YOUR LIFEbanana
...and don't dwell on the fact that you are single..that person is out there! hug

I think probably less than half the people out there are genuine in what they want, and who they say they are... sad flower
And I think some of the scammers out there are looking for a Green Card..
(I know, I've gotten some pretty weird emails from some.. and I reported/blocked the ones that were suspicious) thumbs up

#1 Good Idea.. I can usually tell if a pic is fake... one still had writing on it from another website, and well if they look like professional models they probably arent
#2 I don't get why CS would delete this post or poll at all.. I can't see why or how it broke any rules....
#3 Zombie, I hope you aren't going anywhere...kiss

Oh... I almost forgot... Sour Patch Kids!
depening on some Movie Theaters, you can get these in those bags where you can add what you want and pay for the candy by the lb. (Hoyts Theaters)
Also, there are also some Movie Theater Cafe( Cinema Cafe) where you can get waited on by a waitress and order dinner, burgers, pizza, dessert, even Beer right there while watching the movie!

You'll have to pick me up and take me back to Ireland ; )

I say a prayer before I go to bed if I"m scared, sad, worried..
but not on a regular basis.. (I know that's bad.. waiting until I"m in a Jam)
However, I do think it's better to count your blessings then to worry about things angel

p.s. sorry the green I just posted looks more like puke green, I was trying to find just plain green...funny I noticed alot of the color options on here are named after foods.
Which brings me to another point... common St. Patrick's Day traditions in the U.S.
Green Food:
Green Jell-o
Green pudding
Green Milk
Green Mashed Potatoes
Green Cookies
Green Cheesecake (today at work...yum)
Green Eggs...

It makes me wonder sometimes how offended people from Ireland who celebrate it more reverently are offended by how Americans celebrate it.... confused

I usually make a traditional Irish dinner, wear green, make special things for my kids.. I know it's silly but they asked for Green Eggs and Ham for breakfast (so it's become a bit of a tradition now) feels more like a Dr. Seuss holiday..lol.
I have a great recipe for Irish Potato Cakes (like fried mashed potato patties) Yum!
One year when I ran my own daycare and the kids were toddlers, I put glittery construction paper shamrocks in hiding places and there was one for each kid, and each one at the end of the day got a treat, chocolate gold coins, left by the "Leprechaun" : )
I also like to play Celtic music CD's (like Lorena McKinnet, Celtic Women, Celtic Legend, etc.)
I brought some Irish music to work to play in the Doctor's office waiting room.
I wear my late-Grandmother's old Celtic cross necklace.. it is part of my heritage and I'm proud to celebrate it...
I hope you all had a Happy St. Patrick's Day!
