Yash124g: Hi Konigsberg,
I beleive Candio did also, and great to see you
What really gets to me is after Nuremberg I would have hoped organisations such as the UN would have made more use of its powers to ensure cases like Rwanda/former Yugoslavia would never take place, but do not think they have had the right backing to do as much as they would like, which goes back to politics and nations looking at what is in their best interests first rather than a collective whole for the benefit of the planet/people. Cold war caused lots of issues but cannot be used as an excuse any more.
I know trade embargoes can & are placed on countries, but these again tend to affect the people who require it most
One thing I hope is that with new technologies, THE people of each nation can vote on strong issues digitally. However, this may require registration, for which not everyone agrees with, but if you can have a direct say on a subject rather than going by a politition who is voted in but never progresses with their agenda that got your vote & them elected, I'm all for it.
See you later folks & never ment to ramble as long, and cheers for the good subject VirgoSingle
UN has powers?! lol They do what they told to do. The most ridiculous organization I've ever hear about.
What a waste of money on keeping UNin existence.
Good night Yash
