I can think of one reason. The person does not think you're their match. Regardless, there has to be basic courtesy. It would be nice to be acknowledge. One woman here was honest to shoot me an email saying that we may not be a match and wishes me good luck. Now that's courtesy.

Other than that, just keep trying to make connection and eventually you'll find her.

Okietony: What the hell over? I don't respect her, I don't love her, but I can't quit thinking about her. Maybe I'm still burning after she screwed me over more than I thought would ever be possible? Any suggestions of why? How to make it stop? Medications??? LOL


Everytime she enters my mind ! I simply say Its over ! Another reason is that perhaps you may have a lot time in your hand and boredom often brings back these memories.

I believed that I can take that leap of faith. My doubts are perhaps of being hurt. Then again, I have been hurt so many times that I have become stronger and wiser for the next relationship.

In my mind, I won't hesitate to fall in love again. Its the heart that says "whoa ! are we gonna go through this again !"

spicey1: I was in a relationship for a long time, and since the break up every potential relationship since has been a disaster. Whether it was my own fear, or trying to find a "replacement" or whatever. So I would say yes it is scary.


Do you think that this "fear" would die out eventually ? Do you feel trapped for having this doubt of falling in love again ?

I guess that's what I am feeling too, honestly I don't like to feel this way. You know have doubts. I have always given my all, but this would be the first time that I have this nagging doubt.

In a perfect world, it would be nice to have no doubts at all when we meet that certain someone.

I can understand your frustrations. I myself don't get that many response either. Out of the 20 people I have said hi and sincere compliments, only two have responded thus by far.

Its ok, at least I know that the non-reponse is an indication that they are not interested in you. Then it gives you the ability to move on.

Don't let it drag you down, as many posters have said, there's plenty of others worthy of your friendship and eventually your love.

I always believed that no matter how imperfect I am to others, there a imperfect woman searching for me. Only time can tell.
