With the PDF document open in Acrobat 7 Standard or Professional, choose File > Save As. In the Save As dialog box, choose Microsoft Word Document from the Format (Mac) or Type (Windows) pop-up menu. There are PDF conversion programs that are cheaper then bloody Adobe. Adobe thinks we are all made of money. PDF Converter is one ... It is given out free on Computer Magazine DVDs. But you have to find it first.

Do not ... I just installed it and ran it, I simply choose the option below "continue with trial version"

Then I needed to mark three pages per conversation, since there is the only limitation. The result was great. I tried with a two column cartoon (text and images) from Adobes homepage.

I think you save yourself time, if you run with this, you need to do 7 conversations and then simply add the pages together.

Then I check trial versions where there are no limitations during the trial.

What you do is :

Creat empty columns in a new word document in similar fashion as the PDF is made.

Copy (Mark and copy in the PDF) each column and paste it into the word doc. Copy and paste images separatly.

If it is a PDF with restriction, you may want to print it into a "PDF printer" (PDF printer is freely available, like cute-pdf etc) and then try again.

I have had this same problem before...then I had a church that had a whole book in PDF format. I changed it for them by getting a program that converts it to WP. I think I still have it on my PC(Windows) system, I'm using a Mac at the time. I'll make a notation to your screen name, and then when I get time will look on the PC and see what the name of the program name is, or if you want to send it, I'd be glad to convert to Word Perfect.

Save as Text, it will convert it to a Notepad file, then copy & paste into Word. It works for me.

You can save it if it's a basic format...but if it's a complex one with tables and graphs, you'll loose that.
The only way to convert it safely would be if you have an Adobe license - reader and editor.
Or if you have friends that are into web design, graphic design, marketing....

Try paws suggestion and then if it doesn't work I'll try it for ya...or can ya just copy and paste the PDF as is without converting it..try both anyway...
