What a lousy day !!My beloved Brazil has been dumped out of the running by France, and to add insult to injury,England lost to Portugal .Well,I guess I'm just gonna drown my sorrow in alcohol.I'm yet to come to terms with what's befallen me :I think I'm having a hell of a nightmare. This is one day I'd love to forget as soon as possible.Problem is that it's gonna be terribly difficult to forget & move on to 2010.

It is really mind-boggling that in a supposedly civilized country like Germany the execution of a bear was ordered by the parliament. Bruno's only crime was doing just what bears were meant to do :be a predator.He never posed any real danger to the people living in the border areas between Germany, Italy, Switzerland and maybe France ,all he did was kill a few sheep ,birds and maybe some rabbits.It would not have been that difficult to have Bruno captured and sent to a sanctuary , but after a half-hearted attempt to have him taken alive failed to yield fast results , a rather hasty and irresponsible decision was taken to have him shot on sight.This horrific alternative was pursued with so much gusto that it didn't take long before Bruno was shot full of holes.What a barbaric act !!!
It is very disgusting to realise that despite all the fancy talk about animal rights and wild life conservation , such an act of the cold-blooded murder of an innocent animal was able to take place.Shame on the German parliament or whoever it was that made the decision. Can the animals out there really rely on us humans to save them when we're so callous & heartless ?

Hey DVDMCM, I'm gonna be rooting for England, and I and my fellow countrymen are counting on you guys to put a huge smile on our faces.
I never said we were gonna win de trophy ,but I did not expect our boys to be heading home after just four games.From the very first day of this tournament I made it very obvious that I would be putting my money on Brazil or England to lift the trophy and not on my country due to the absence of experienced players in our squad.

I'm very sorry folks, I never really meant to hurt anybody's feelings . I got carried away by my emotions .Our defeat by Portugal was one hell of a sucker punch to my face .In fact I'm still reeling from that punch .I'm truly sorry for my choice of adjectives.I've got absolutely nothing against the Portuguese,afterall one of my favorite soccer icons happens to be the legendary Eusebio .

Yeah Siren, this is Pilolo in da house .England just might end up losing Rooney through another injury ,just like what's befallen Owen.

Yeah Australia gave Brazil a hard time. Well,well,well Brazil wasn't really impressive in their opening game against Croatia, that I admit, but so far no team has been genuinely great. But then everybody gets kind of jittery at the initial stages of every undertaking : be you a maestro or some clumsy greenhorn.Et ceteris paribus, Brazil is gonna go home with the trophy.England,France,Argentina and Germany [ Germany always manages to prove everybody wrong, remember 2002]are possible outsiders.However, I sincerely hope and pray that the above-mentioned teams remain outsiders and nothing more than that.
