langleygirl: Funny you have the assumption that most people will block the same sex. Since I was here before and now still I've corresponded with many women for various exchanges. I've only ever had one lady who blocked (filtered) mail from women and I remember being surprised by it.
I think sometimes its good because you can pass on info to another woman or ask about someone as well. Sometimes we need to look out for each other, and as well, its always wonderful to find a new friend.
