HL You hit a lot of good points.

I am not happy in the least about this. Granted we need affordable health care but not something that has more holes in it than swiss cheese.

There are millions of people that have major medical problems, due to diseases and disorders. Diabetics, Auto-immune disorders, Cardiac problems etc etc. I could list all the medical conditions, but that would be pointless here.

With this new bill, anyone with any major health problem is up a creek without a paddle. I know that I won't get the health care that I need with this bill and I as well as many others will be put on a waiting list in order to get anything done. Then they will also pick and choose what treatment they are going to give me and with limited options for me at this point and time...I will be thrown to the wayside along with many others.

Yes that may sound a little selfish and self-centered, but there are many many people that will be affected negatively by this bill. Being in the health care field, I have a little bit of an advantage but the outcome remains the same.

There will end up being a HUGE black market for medications and treatments by unlicensed practitioners. Is this what we want? Not me

Do you really think that just because the government passes a bill that it automatically a good thing? Wrong

Do you think that they are really looking out for the people and have their best interest in mind? NOPE

If people want to be sheep and just worship the things that are thrown at them just because the things are said to be "good" then go right ahead and continue doing so. If you really want truth then start reading and investigating the things that are thrown at you and become proactive instead of complacent.

When we have a negative attitude, we may snarl and all too quickly criticize innocent bystanders, as well as friends and family. All we need is to make a simple decision to look with love as far as our eyes can see.

When our hearts are God-centered and filled with love and laughter, we'll find no experience too difficult to handle. No problem will evade its solution for long.

An attitude of love promises us gratitude in abundance. We'll never doubt that all is well when love is at our center.

HL is starting to soften you up

I have found that a lot of people see what they want to see and it's their reality/fantasy. Many are afraid that if they stopped to read the whole book and not just look at the cover that they may actually enjoy it and see that there's more than meets the eye. It's a shame that there is so much shallowness in society these days.

He is family by choice

We actually met in an AA chat room years ago and he's the Dad I never had. He has been a very dear friend and I respect the man that he is. He swears to this day that I'm a product of one of his blackouts...Unfortunately that's not the case. I'm not sure I'd be alive today if it weren't for him.

There's still many people here from when I was here previously and it's good to see them.
