If you still believe in the right guy/girl then I can't answer your question. I'm serious. People have fallen in love and had romantic nights together but after marriage when they have to live with each other day in and day out, seeing pee is spilled outside the toilet flush, dirty clothes spread on the bed, dirty dishes left in the kitchen overnight for the cockraoches to crawl all over, the lawn is not mowed on time, and he/she is gaining weight and not give a damn etc.... Answered your question?

blueriver30: what you consider ugly others may not. beauti is in the eyes of the beholder

I apologize if this question came out the wrong way. I didn't ask the question to try to define or create bias against "ugly" people. I asked it because I've noticed, on occasion, a marked difference in how I'm treated when I go out wearing my glasses than I do when I'm dressed to kill. It's often little more than receiving a smile vs. not. Although it has also been the difference between receiving a ticket vs. not. Granted, it's different people I'm dealing with, so it may just be that some people are crabbier than others, but I want to know if people realize if/that they do this.

Would you consider yourself prejudiced against ugly people? Why or why not? Be honest!

I am taking it here, Steve, that you mean a physical disability?

I love the edit on the answer by the way..it is physical disability only...

Can you answer this question with a question?

Why would I do that?

What's in it for me?

Do you think I can?

Sommerauer71: Very good question again.

Again it would depend on the level of the disability and how I was feeling about it.

I find it sad that others don't consider that disabled people may have sexual feelings also. This is a subject that makes a lot of people queezy. That's why I asked the question + I appreciate the honesty.

druidess6308: Steveno, that is not an easy question. I think it depends on the disability and the person with it. This isn't a black and white question, but one with shades of grey. There are people who handle being disabled much better than others, and disabilities that would be easier to handle than others. So...good question.

I already have. I dated someone who was deaf. She was gorgeous. It was fun learning to sign and she could read anyone's lips so I really didn't have to learn a lot. It was funny b/c she could tell you what people were talking about across the room, mall, etc.

But yea, they are no different. You could be disabled one day, wouldn't you want someone to love you?

Nothing wrong with that. Sex is a whole lot better when you have an emotional attachment to them.

Sommerauer71: Hi Steveno..

I would not know, but not all military are voluntary services.

Certainly not in Europe, it is mandatory in alot of countries.

Hello Sommerauer,

I do believe that soldiers who sign up know the risks, that risk is a part of their job. I wouldn't want to say it to the soldier's grieving parents however, because I wouldn't want to add more pain to their situation... it's not a matter of being brave.

Of course I'm sympathetic when people (inc. soldiers) die, I'm also sympathetic when a civilian family dies because a soldier wrongly bombed their house.

Are people that are unsympathetic towards a soldier's death (who say things like "It's a volunteer military, they knew the risks.") brave enough to say the same thing to the grieving parents?

princessadele: im sure everyone has heard the saying chocolate is better than said do u agree with it.

This can be the only way chocolate can be better than sex: Sex has greater capacity for greatness, but also greater capacity for ruin. Great sex is, by far, better than great chocolate. But bad sex can be awful. Chocolate that doesn't taste so great still isn't that bad.

And chocolate may make a person fat, but it can't make you pregnant or get infections.

But good sex is still ****ing hawt.

dunno

Points to Ponder: click here to read the entire thread »

What do you think is the cause of most break-ups between couples?

lack of communication , if distance is involved , then lack of sex ,unfaithfulness, lack of trust ,interfering family members and friends , one person or the other being too demanding too soon ( aka wanting a total commitment.) too many fights, not wanting to change for the other person , no matter how small that could be

dunno

claudya: All we have principles in life!Suppose you meet here a person, you like him/her, but you have your own principles what u do you make compromises and u accept that person in your life or u look someone else according to your principles?

I acknowledge that every circumstance and relationship in my life is a direct or indirect result of choices I have made, or failed to make. I understand that I am the supreme creator of my life and everything in it, and I choose every day to accept my present circumstances and relationships exactly as they are, unless I am consciously acting to change them.

I believe that life is exactly as we choose to see it. All people, places and things can present both a negative and positive perspective. We, as observers, make the choice of which side we will focus upon. Because I want to fill my life with joy, I choose to recognize the positive in all things.

I will try to have every choice I make be consistent with the highest vision I have of myself. Rather than try to control or manipulate others to conform to my addictive behaviors or programming, I will allow others to simply be, and will learn to change my addictions into preferences. I know this is the only way I can be truly happy.

I know it is better to live my life without expectations or attachment to results. Although I may plan for the future, I must not become too attached to the fulfillment of those plans or I may miss other more fulfilling opportunities. If life takes me in a direction different than the one I have planned, I believe it is for my ultimate good.

I want to approach each and every moment of every day with the same level of enthusiasm, happiness, passion and present-moment focus as I have making love. Life and everything in it, like sex, is a wonderful experience that I know I must appreciate, using all of my senses to fully enjoy it.

Honesty is one of the single greatest principles in life, and I will approach every person, circumstance or situation with a commitment to be honest with myself, to openly and honestly present my true thoughts and feelings to others, and to never lie, deceive or mislead another person.

I believe in being sensitive, and before acting or reacting to any situation or person, I will try my best to act or react in a way that I would want to be treated under the same circumstances.

These are my governing principles. I have not yet attained to them, but I am struggling to do it. I may not ever totally achieve them, but you may. So go on! Learn what you may from me, open your eyes with the light that I offer, but learn to walk for yourself. Don't be afraid - I am walking too . . . not behind you or in front of you, but beside you making my own way. As we walk along together we can look out for each other . . . help each other. I will be there for you . . . and you for me . . . and together we will realize our dreams.

Beethovenfan: I find that some of the men I meet or talk to are looking for someone to take care of them....
The economy is so bad, that some have also lost their jobs...I would not necessarily call them gold diggers, maybe just someone better of then they are...What are your thoughts and experiences..???

There are sites out there to meet just about everyone's needs, tastes and goals, many of which are specifically targeted, such as dating websites for the affluent. This may seem to reflect a strange criteria for starting your search for romance, but many people find wealthy dating sites particularly well suited to helping them find a match. One nice feature about such sites is that they often facilitate some kind of system whereby members can prove their status. It's nice to know you're talking to someone with an authentic background rather than someone boasting of fictitious victories just to get attention.

I don't know about you, but if I could find a way to meet a wealthy woman, I sure as heck would go ahead and do it. I'm sure there are lots of wealthy women searching for single men on wealthy dating sites. There's no way better way to find out than to sign up and take a look.

It's tough for anyone to find someone to date, but it can be especially difficult for affluent people. Finding someone who doesn't turn out to just be a gold digger can be really difficult. On the other hand, sometimes people in that position are just looking for someone that they can love and make happy. Either way, for people on either side of the coin, there are lots of personals at wealthy dating sites.
