Yes I do, as does all of the sane members of the human race. Sounds rather brash? Consider this: to say, as does littl_foggy, that all there is for 'after life' is worm food implies the essence of self one and the same with body, i.e., PHYSICAL self. This is just one of the great lies foisted upon the unwitting majority of us by the 'Great Deceiver' and "Father of Lies'. For if any small percentage of the premise were true, that we vanish with death, that 'nothing' exists after our physical life, then our very existence is inexorably tied, yea, one and the same with the flesh comprising our very body. 'Ashes to ashes, dust to dust' would be just that and nothing more.

I am I...
Do not change me, condemn me, nor put me down.
Accept me for what I am,
No, you need not agree with me,
But accept me, for I am total in being.

I have my faults
I have my guilts
But that is who I am.
Perfect I will never be!!!

Allow me to be uninhibited,
DO NOT PRESURE ME
Into feeling what I do not feel.
Accept me when I am flying high,
As I have accepted you
When you were flying high.

Do not put me down,
Nor make me feel unhappy about me.
I AM I...
And I like being what I am...
ME!

*sigh* Yes, yes I am.

1) we've been together 2 months so I know it's not too soon
2) it gets better and better
3) we can talk more and more openly about things
4) I feel all squishy inside when I think about her
5) I feel loved and accepted for who I am
6) everyday I am reminded by the things she does and by her consideration, what a great GF she is.

"You are never given a wish without also having been given the power to make it come true."
--- Richard Bach.

Trite? But true.

What you need is patience, perseverance, and a burning desire that constantly needs to be fueled. The quest for the realization of your dreams is like waging a momentous battle during which you might encounter severe setbacks. But success comes to those who turn adversities into opportunities, overcome their limitations and bounce back with renewed vigor.

If you have fallen down, get up and brush the dust off your knees and move on. A temporary setback is not a defeat. For that matter, there's no such thing as defeat.
Nothing is impossible in this world. If you have the will to win, you can achieve anything. And always remember that the whole world will help you when you want to achieve something.

Just imagine a young girl who learned dancing when she was three-years old and whose greatest passion remains dancing. She loses one of her legs in an accident. Read on this true incident that took place almost 20 years ago and find out whether she gives up dancing or fights back to realize what she believes in:

Sudha Chandran, a classical dancer from India, was cut off in the prime of her career - quite literally - when her right leg had to be amputated after a car accident. Though the incident brought her bright career to a halt, she didn't give up.

In the painful months that followed, she met a doctor who developed an artificial limb made from vulcanized rubber filled with sponge. So intense was her desire that she decided to go back to dancing after she had been fitted with an artificial leg. Sudha knew that she believed in herself and could fulfill her dream, She began her courageous journey back to the world of dancing - learning to balance, bend, stretch, walk, turn, twist, twirl and finally dance.

After every public recital, she would ask her Dad about her performance. "You still have a long way to go" was the answer she use to get in return.

In January 1984, Sudha made a historic comeback by giving a public recital in Bombay. She performed in such a marvelous manner that it moved everyone to tears while catapulting her to the number one position again. That evening when she asked the usual question, her dad, he didn't say anything. He just touched her feet as a tribute to a great artiste.

Sudha's comeback was so heart-warming that a film producer was inspired to capture the incident into a celluloid box office hit, `Mayuri.' When someone asked Sudha how she had managed to dance again, she said quite simply:
"YOU DON'T NEED FEET TO DANCE."

When we're born, the soul we're given is split apart and half of it is given to someone else. Throughout our lives, we search for the person with the other half of our soul. Very few ever succeed.

I am blessed that we have met. In a sudden moment, warm within your loving glare, my soul said, "At last! I can rest. I have found my missing half." When this happens, it is said we have found our soul mate And we are happy and at peace. When we shared ourselves, we were engulfed in eternity, dancing in a timeless universe.

I am truly blessed because that day, my heart recognized you as a part of its own. Thank you for blessing me with you. Thank you for dreaming with me - for seeing the same future as I do. For your beautiful eyes, reminding me of the truest bliss in life, I am forever grateful for you.

I will spend an eternity, loving you, caring for you, respecting you, showing you everyday that I hold you as high as the stars. I am sorry that it's taken me this long to find you - I shall make it up to you, my flower, as long as we live.

The strength of a man isn't seen in the width of his shoulders.
It is seen in the width of his arms that encircle you.
The strength of a man isn't in the deep tone of his voice.
It is in the gentle words he whispers.

The strength of a man isn't how many buddies he has.
It is how good a buddy he is with his kids.
The strength of a man isn't in how respected he is at work.
It is in how respected he is at home.

The strength of a man isn't in how hard he hits.
It is in how tender he touches.
The strength of a man isn't in the hair on his chest.
It is in his Heart that lies within his chest.

The strength of a man isn't how many women he's loved.
It is in can he be true to one woman.
The strength of a man isn't in the weight he can lift.
It is in the burdens he can understand and overcome.

to me the best age would be 16 or 17 but its mostly about when your ready, don't rush into it or you might do something that your regret. take your time, and if you think your with the right person and feel ready and your partner feels ready then go for it. but make sure to be protected defenintly.

A 1961 law prohibited payment of dowries in India according to both civil and criminal laws. Nevertheless, the custom of paying a dowry--or of the husband demanding the payment of a dowry--is still very much alive all over India. Omitting a dowry may be the new wave among sophisticated city dwellers. The vast majority of Indians do not live in cities and prefer to follow their ancient customs. As far as these people are concerned, both husbands and wives find fault with the law and try to ignore it. Enforcement of the new law is both spotty and unpredictable.

Dowries are gifts given by the parents of the bride on the occasion of a marriage. Sometimes the parents do not have the dowry in place on the occasion of the marriage, so they can be given extra time to finish their arrangements. In a technical sense the dowry is considered property of the wife. But commonly it is considered and treated as the husband's property.

The 1961 Dowry Prohibition Act prohibits the request, payment or acceptance of a dowry "as consideration for the marriage". That is, it is outlawed to demand a gift be given as a precondition for a marriage. Asking for or giving of dowry can--in principle--be punished by imprisonment. But that's not the way things occur in the real world. Almost no one is imprisoned for violating this part of the law.
