I too think that Mitchell has the best advise. There used to be quite a few Christian singles sites. ChristianSingles being one of them. But they, like most others have become a paying site. As Mitchell said...you'll probably find the most sincere people helping out as volunteers at a lot of organizations.

Nope, don't have any and don't like them. Total turn-off for me...but to each their own. Some like them and some don't. That's what makes the world go around, people being different. Would be a boring place if everyone was the same. head banger

I have a Canon scanner and have scanned negatives before and they came out great. There is a setting in the scan software you set to scan negatives. Not sure what it would be in your software but mine has a drop down menu and you choose the source...ie color photo, color negatives, slides, etc.

Anyone know about scanners that read negatives?: click here to read the entire thread »

The only thing "wrong" with it is the fact that you're still hurting over it. Sometimes we can't help how we feel...and it's not something you can turn off like a light switch. Best wishes to ya man.

The difficult part is finding that "someone" who actually feels the same. Too often people get into a relationship and although they both really care for each other...it's still kind of one sided. One feels much more than the other. It's sort of like the old question...Is it better to love or to be loved?...personally I don't think either one is very good without the other. It is only when both people feel the utmost for each other that you can truly say yes...I have found the one for me.

I still think the Exxon/Mobil boycott would work. I know people have complained that it would just hurt the retailer who sells their gas...but one could still buy other products at the Exxon station (most all of them are convenience stores now) just do not buy their gas. The store owners do not make much profit on the gas anyway so it wouldn't hurt them that much. If Exxon HAD to lower their prices because they weren't selling any gas, then the others would lower theirs too. Makes perfect sense...it's just getting EVERYONE to stick with it. Drive up to Conoco, Citgo, etc. to buy gas.

I've been on both sides...the giving and the receiving...but have really never experienced the equal, mutual feelings. If a person ever does find it, it would be something well worth hanging on to for sure.

Just to be somewhat cynical, I wonder how those ubiquitous "bleeding-hearted anti-gun" people are handling this one; charge Floyd with illegal use of a firearm that was /is unregistered to him; will anyone want him charged with "Manslaughter", based on he illegally allowed a firearm to kill another person,; trying to again convince people that guns kill people, not people...yes, the illogic of anti gun logic....
Hope the Governor awards him with a medal for his valour and by one of the National Associations of Police Officers, or whatever the name is now.
I totally agree! Floyd should be honored with recognition for what he did. It sounds like the original shooter was out for revenge stemming from the charge four years ago. That is one less criminal that won't be walking the streets or costing tax payers while sitting in an air conditioned prison for the few years he would have possibly gotten for killing an innocent man. The cop was innocent...the kid who shot him and ran over him was NOT. He deserved what he got in my opinion.

after three trips and six months abroad my savings is mostly depleted. the next time we would see each other would be for a fortnight in 2012. distance is a definite problem for some people. rotten attitudes don't help much either.

if airfares cost less or we sprouted wings it would be much easier to be together.
That's one of the big problems pandie...expenses. I'm not much on long distance relationships, even a couple of hours distance can be trying simply because two people can not really get to know one another by email, phone, chat, etc. Sure people can discuss their wants and desires but they can also put on their best behavior during those times. The only way to really get to know someone is to actually spend time with them...and not just a day or two here and there. The problem that a lot of us have is the fact that we live in small towns where the availability of potential partners is slim to none. So our only option is to venture out into cyberspace, with the hopes of not being conned or lied to. I'm sure there are a lot of people who have found their true love with a long distance relationship, but I have also heard several horror stories about people moving a long distance to be with someone only to find out that the person was NOT the person they thought they were...although they had spent months corresponding. It's almost like a trip to Vegas...you might hit the jackpot, but you're just as apt to loose it all. It's a big gamble for sure.

If you try to boycott buying gas it doesnt affect the oil companies...just the owner of the gas station. Exxon, Chevron and all those guys don't own the gas stations, those are owned by small business owners who buy the gas from the oil companies and sell it to the consumer. And, those corner gas satations really don't make much money off gas--most of their money comes from the convenience store attatched to the gas station. You want prices to go down? Drive less. This is why the prices go down at the end of summer and go up the beginning of summer. People drive more in the summer time. Supply and demand and goverment interferance is what drives the prices.
You can still give the convenience store your business...buy your sandwhiches, drinks, etc. there...just do not buy gas there (Mobil/Exxon). As was stated, they don't make much money on the sale of gas anyway. Give them the business from other items but NOT gas.

that won't work, though i won't buy gas on that day. a better plan is to target exxon/mobil (the largest companies) and don't buy any gas from them(even if it is the lowest) until, they lower prices. once exxon/mobil feel the pinch to go down, other companies will have to follow suit. peace.
This is the only thing that will work. Not buying gas on one particular day is not going to make any difference what so ever. So you fill up the day before or the day after. I have read this thing about Exxon/Mobil before and I think this is the only thing that will hurt their pockets. I will not buy gas from either of these companies...haven't for several months now.

My question would be, "Why do you go on letting people think you're male, when all right thinking people know that feminine is divine?"
Genesis 1:27
So God created man in HIS own image, in the image of God created HE him, male and female created HE them.

Shroud of Turin? They are not even sure if that was Jesus's burial shroud but it is claimed to be.

As far as Jesus being a God? I was under the impression he was a human but his spirituality was like God. We all started out as animals but humans are set apart by their spirituality...
Animals? You might think you came from a monkey...but I didn't.
