Nina3: Hello Trood, and welcome to CS! Have fun here!

I just arrived back in Sweden, after living over 10 years in Brussels - so the adjusment is probably not as big as the one you encountered!

I can certainly understand your relief at moving to Greece - although Sweden is beautiful, especially in the summertime, and in winter with snow, the winter-season can be a bit drawn out here. Although, in the southern part of the country at least, it's not as cold as it used to be.

Hi Nina

Thank you for your reply.
Glad you arrived safe and sound.

Keeping you busy just answering all the good wishes, I think.
I hope your current stay in Sweden goes well

Friday, August 1, 2008
Time: 8:00pm - 9:00pm
Location: Gaia's Elysium Centre

City/Town: Ghajn Tuffieha, Malta

The world is at the point of a global transformation. Consciousness now is Opening to its great potential. Mother Earth calls you to help balance the energetics of the planet at this time. The light of the Solar Eclipse ignites our aspiration to resonate with our higher being.

Come and be a part of this event so that more and more energy, through large group meditations, can be directed to the Awakening of peaceful co-existence and Spiritual Awareness.

LET US BE THE POSITIVE CHANGE

Although the eclipse will be visible over China, Mongolia and Russia, its effects will be manifested worldwide over a period of three days, bringing about great positive change and innovation, as its energies interface with all the sacred sites and ley-lines around the planet.

Now this is serious.

Beginning of an E-mail just received.

I am a Spiritualist by nature.
But not sure. that we could ever achieve complete peace.
Its not in mans nature.
Do these meditationn do any good?
Not sure myself.

Any comments,
Any of you MALTA members attending. rolling on the floor laughing Fine chance

Trood: Thank you very much Rusty Knight, that was very nice of you.
I will probably need the good luck.

"car packed to the roof and her little dog perched on top of some cushions and with its own seat belt"

Sounds a bit like my return from the UK, when I drive back, though my dog is not very keen on the now, compulsory, seat belt.

I did look at Nina's profile as she had looked at mine.
I am sure it said Stockholm, maybe she has changed it already, though I might be wrong.

By-the-way. I did do an introduction thread, but think I picked the wrong forum, as all those that welcomed me, were American and Australian. Nice though.

You were right, re Nina's profile Rusty Knight. Could not be clearer.

Should have put my glasses on when reading it, though it might just be the age/memory thing.confused

rusty_knight: Welcome to CS, Trood!

Nina is moving from Brussels to Stockhom (as stated quite clearly on her profile)....... she should be on her way there now, as I type, with her car packed to the roof and her little dog perched on top of some cushions and with its own seat belt!

CS can be a great place to meet people; I've met lovely women from Malta, The Ukraine, Spain and Sweden - but my girlfriend/partner is from Germany; and I didn't meet her via CS!

I hope you make many lifelong friends here and, also a sensitive beautiful lady to be your soul partner to share your interests and life with - good luck!

Lovely country Sweden as your pictures show.

Spent a lot of time working in Gothenberg in 1970's.
Also in the other Scandinavian countries, and North Germany.

I can remember, at times, my nose being so cold, I thought it would fall off.

In spite of the beauty of Sweden,
I was very happy when my work, required I moved to Greece.

Though you are right, the summers in Sweden are magical.

Hope your move goes well.

PS New on here, not sure where you are moving from!!!

cherscic: Lucky for you to meet guls and still remain friends....my experience proved that you cant even hug friends..........if you do..it means they own you...............

Well I am sorry it does not work for you.
We all need a hugs now and then (hug for you)

I often get hugs from friends, (and return them),
but they are never quite the same, as a hug from the one you love. blues

foreveryoung1: On a dating site it is very visual, I can only see your pic to begin with, takes emails first before anyone can hope to understand how wonderful a person is. Then a meeting to find out if feelings materilize for real.

I can't understand woman either.
They talk a lot about the men being players.
In fact, a lot of the ladies I talk to, on dating sites, seem to be the players themselves.

In response to: Then a meeting to find out if feelings materilize for real

Though a lot of women talk about meeting, many of them never intend to in the first place.
They just lead you along. I am not sure why.
It's a game, which could hurt some people. blues

That said, A very small percentage of the ladies I have talk to,
I have met.
Most of them are now good friends, and we still meet, I am glad to say.
Though it would be nice if there were more.

But like the, "Bridesmade who is never the bride"
I think I am doomed to be, "The friend who never becomes more than that"
But thats life.
I think that I am happy, though a hug, would be nice now and then. sigh

EnSilencio: Sure, it was not meant for you, I just simply found out there is not anywhere stated what country I originate from. Not that it really matters, the message stays the same.

And.. erh.. for the rest, have a and be welcome back in!

I have only been here a few days, but find your posts interesting, and had therefore looked at your profile.
An interesting profile as well.
Whilst not stating a country of origin, I think you did mention Nordic, and I thought Sweden.

Reading this thread from the beginning, I changed the country to Norway, as you talk about visa's (Norway is not in EU).

and then became totally confused, when your nationality was changed by others to Spanish.

I think the clues were there re Sweden.

Not sure why you are leaving Spain.
I am from the UK, and in that respect, I am as lucky as you,
But I know it would have to be something very dramatic, to make me, leave Spain.

When you move, hope the future bodes well for you.
Presume you are moving south, as if I remember rightly, (without looking at your profile again)
Dull weather does not suit you.

Is your business transferable?

Whatever. Best wishes for whatever you do. cheers

Take care
Trood

New to this so may mess it up:

FlowerOfTheSun: Intelligence V broadmindedness!!!!
I much prefer someone who is open minded and able to explore others point of view ...
Sharing similar values and ideals is also trully important in a relationship ... If children are going to be involved to actually agree on subjects like "how to bring up the kids" is paramount, in my experience ... (I learned that the hard way BTW!!!laugh )

In response to: I much prefer someone who is open minded and able to explore others point of view ...

Practically the first law of counselling, and if you can councel each other, it leads, to a good relationship.
Just like being able to talk to each other, about problems, without one or the other, flying off at a tangent.
conversing

Agreeing on how to bring up the kids is difficult.
Mum is usually, nearer, more orientated towards, and softer on the kids.
Though Mun and Dad may agree on how to bring them up, it does not usually work out how they agreed.
The kids can all have different personalities, which can also tilt the balance.
blues confused

Going to press post now - hope this works.

Take care
Trood
