Spanky, My 10 yr old daughter is a diabetic as well....she has been blessed thus far with good health I just pray that it stays good
I have and will pray that your family will remain strong. There is much that is done now with all the technology we have. I will stay positive that she will overcome this. We as moms have so many obstacles, and when there is an added health issue that we can't make just "go away" sometimes we feel helpless. I pray for you to have peace within and guidance. hug

First question always is.....

What are you looking for in a relationship?

I usually ask questions that are open ended....things about him that will make him comfortable responding.....if that goes well then, the conversations should be easy.

Just wondering, do you hit other people as well, or just your children??
Yep, I am a bad ass that runs around hitting whoever gets in my way....throw rocks and stones and I give myself points for hitting people with my car....60 for adults, 150 children.....most points win....

violence is always a sign of helplessness and failure! it's not the childs fault - it's your own. your supposed to take away all fear - not cause it..

In response to:
From my point of view hitting a child in any way, whether with your hand, paddle or anything else IS abuse....
And everyone had a right to voice their "point of view" and not everyone will agree just like you don't agree with what I had to say but I DO respect your point of view. Thank you.....

handshake

In response to:

As if the abused child does not know what hands are wielding the weapon!
Children will never confuse the tool with the actual abuser.

Children are quite smart...
Obviously we are talking about 2 different things here....

I agree the "abused child" will. I am speaking of a child that comes from a home where some call "normal" corrective punishment, uses this as a form of.

Yes, I agree, children are alot smarter than people give them credit for.
