Sommerauer71: I too have lived in the Middle East, for many years, and yes, I would not get involved with a person certainly from Saudi, but this young lady is not asking whether she should get involved, she is stating that she has noticed cultural differences. Also, I never found many that treated their women as whores, I mean women have been stoned for behaving what they perceive as whores, slaves and ith little respect, and there for men's convienences, but not whores.
Of course you may find the odds everywhere - but the cultural background is that the man is the A1 animal and the woman has to follow! It is even written in the Koran!
In Europe are many muslims, but there are too often same problems. When they get asked about women, they say they would screw any woman coz they are all sluts, but getting married only to a virgin woman from their own country (coz they can tell them what to do - they have been brought up that way).
And if you still think I'm wrong, watch that movie I was refering to! I didn't make that movie!
And for all of you who claimes to have been in those countries: I bet that nobody has lived right in between them, like I do. You have probably lived in compounds or in protected areas, mainly amongst people from your culture and supported from your company!
And: If she would have answered the letter, she already starting to get involved, isn't it?
And yes, they will treat a woman very nicely, until .... (again - watch that movie).
