I face rejection every day because of my weight. I'm not huge but I'm not the Barbie type either.
Employment. Dating. Social situations.

And the bad part about it is that it's socially acceptable to discriminate against fat women and men.

Absolutely terrified of snakes. I do a lot of hiking and spend a lot of time outdoors in the unpopulated parts of the countryside. And I'm about as white as they come. I come upon them way too often and I hate it.

By the way, my favorite hiking partner is a 6'4" ,235 lb black man. When we come upon a snake of any kind he squeals and hollars like my grand daughter and runs the other way. It's always an effort to get him back on track.
Where did the idea that black people aren't afraid of snakes come from?

Richard Harris as King Arther in "Camelot". A musical from the 60's. The end of the movie where Guinivere is at the burning stake and King is in the tower watching. Helpless but crying for Lancelot to save her.
