Laid back and prefer to let others live their own lives but out going and hellbent to have fun when I go out. Two sides of the same coin, so long as they are their own person Im happy to let em be that, so long as they return me the favor.

Im going to go with Eregon, Kingdom of Heaven and Last samuri. Mind the spelling Im tired.

Not sure why on eregon but that movies just grabbed me. Kingdom of heaven more for the idea behind it and the areas it portrays.

Last Samuri for a half decent depiction of the ending of the way of the warrior with some nice visuals.

Im going to weigh in for winter too. It's the season of endings and darkness, the time of the year when everyone most needs the support of a partner til new life and light comes back in the spring.

Having said that it's also the time of the year i least look to find a partner for most of the same reasons. Most ppl are at their worst around now and i'm no exception. I'm about 50/50 so far for winter and holidays single but I think each one I did experiance single has helped build me into who I am today, independant, family oriented, there for my friends.

Course even knowing that doesen't make any holiday loads of fun watching other couples enjoy each other.

Guilty here, I do hold grudges and i'll hold em for ever, thankfully I only hold grudges over major betrayals or letdowns. But thats differant then what the author asked here in the forums? No I dont hold grudges. Ill keep em to areas I can do something about.

I notice ppl wander in and then disappear. Can't say I blame em much we dont tend to be very active in here and the circle is pretty small.

But a few of us wander in and out as the weeks go by, just got to be patient we do what we can when we have the time.

Be confident, dont dress like a whore(dont know whether you do or not) Don't put out on the first date or usually on the second. Learn to hold your own in conversation, learn to read your own body language so you can project the attitude you want easily, be willing to approach guys and not expect them to approach you, look for men outside of bars we all know what we look for in there and just enjoy yourself, it'll show through and will catch my half of the races attention.

Amen and if you had found your soulmate you wouldent be here talking about losing em unless they died, don't confuse a soulmate with a good friend or a good relationship that cheapens the subject.

And to find someone who loves you, then you need to love yourself, be comfortable with who you are and know you can live your life alone if you have too. Too many ppl think that a relationship equals happiness and a partner makes life better. Find yourself first the rest tends to follow.

How long? It's never about time, you can be friends from birth to death and never be soul mates. A soul mate is someone that clicks with you on so many levels that their the one thing in life that truly fulfills you and brings you contentment.

Stop looking and stop asking how long, if your one of the incredibly lucky ones who finds their soulmate it will be fate and destiny that makes it so not looking and time.

To me it means family, friends, and another year lost that I will never get back. It's a time to make time for the things that really matter in your life, contemplate where you've been and where the road you've been choosing is taking you.

As to all the bible thumping going on Ill just remain silant aside from commenting on the fact that most christian holidays were scheduled over older pagan holidays to help the church convert us heathens more easily.

State fair is coming up in a week or so, was just wondering if any of ya'll were going and what kinds of things your going for. Mostly because im bored and trying to get our dead zone we call nebraska forums a little more lively.

Haven't decided if Im going to go out this year, I haven't been to it since I got back into the state a couple of years ago. But from what I remember I'm not missing much, aside from a couple of good concerts every now and then. Might take my nephew this year though, he's getting to around the age where he'd get a kick out of it.

Just for the fun of it and to give another question ppl might respond too, any of you have any really good or interesting memories from the state fair that you'd care to share with the rest of us?
