I looked at it. It looks like a great show. I may even watch the series on Youtube. Do you ever get a show called Nova? It is a science show on US public television and one of the few American shows the UK might want to see. Who am I kidding. They probably love 'That 70s Show and shows like it.

That sounds good. I forgot to mention that pecan crescents are great to make because they use any kind of crushed nuts you got. If you don't have crushed nuts, you can put them in a bag and whack them with a meat tenderizing hammer or anything blunt. The cookies get covered in powdered sugar. People LOVE my crescents. They rant and rant about them. They were always some of my faves. I use a clean new spray bottle of water to mist them to make the powdered sugar stick. They freeze well and can be sugared after freezing.

I never really got into making oatmeal cookies because store bought ones are so good. I also am humbled by Archway Christmas Cookies. No matter how good my recipes are their cookies are better! I like to use Recipezaar for recipes.

Out of all the cookies I make, my family only rants about the pecan crescents. It's a German recipe and the one I use is from 'The Old Settlement Cook Book.' Most of the recipes in that book are too old fashioned, but the pecan crescent cookies and banana bread are great.

I make a lot of cookies. My mom has to have me make these certain rock hard gingerbread cookies every year. I also love to make peanut butter cookies with Hersheys kisses in the top.

Anyone know about any great recipes for cookies on the net? We're not supposed to direct people off the site, but if you give the name of the cookies, I would look it up.

I like to shower my little cousins with toys and candy. One year I was giving them candy baths by dumping wrapped candy over them on a couch. Another year, I gave them a bunch of stuffed cats and toy cars. They turned the stuffed cats into bludgeons. They were whacking each other with stuffed cats. I don't know what I will give them this year. I always try to give them something nonviolent. The girls are getting some leftover corsets and costumes that nobody on Ebay would buy.
