I don't mind his jokes, some of em are pretty funny in an irreverant way, which I do love. But if he really called his wife the c word, even in jest, I won't be voting for him. I'll stay home, vote Libertarian, or write in Rocky and Bullwinkle first. Sorry, I hate that word, and anybody that uses it.

Depends on your definition of "work." It can, but not permanently long distance, in my experience anyway. Who knows though, my experience might not have worked as long as it did if he'd lived next door.

A Thursday night wasted. What else is new?

My desk top is a pic of a ferris wheel. I used to have the smiley birds pic as I called it, it was three probably seagulls flying with the sunrise in the background, and the birds just happened to make a smiley face. I lost that pic in a computer clean up somehow, I wish I could find it again. It was one of those that was making the rounds on emails a while back, I'm sure it will make the rounds again, those things never die. But if anyone knows which pic I'm talking about and has it on their pc, let me know and I'll get you to send it to me.

Agree! There's a few words I'll abbreviate when I'm on an IM with someone, which I don't even do very often, like tho and def and ppl, but I never even use those in an email, and not usually on here very much. But not those netspeak number/ letter things, like b4, gr8, cya, they're just not in my vocabulary. I was raised back in the day when we learned to speak and write English (gawd that sounds so old ), and I'd have to stop and think about those, so it's faster for me to just type it out.

What I'm having trouble comprehending right now, I know I'll figure it out eventually, is why when I go for the ones who seem to be nothing alike, different age, looks, personality, etc., and I try to respond differently, learning from past encounters, yet they wind up doing the same things! Frack! Is it really me!
