Duh, leave it to a bunch of male scientists to spend a bunch of money to tell us what we already know.

But do they believe us, noooooo, we're just a bunch of silly women!

It wasn't too many decades ago that they were debating whether women really had orgasms!

Having lived continuously between a non touching and a touching culture, it fascinated me as to the huge amounts of appreciation of and for others here in Europe. Over the years I've read many interesting studies on these differences and have come to the conclusion that in Europe as a whole it is, seemingly some sort of "racial memory" within us as to all what our ancestors went through and survived that we are here alive today.

This is REALLY weird......

I had to read it 3 times...slooooowly.

The hugs and kisses go back to our ancestors who survived the ICE AGE!!! Great!
And they were driven together at that time in ways we'll never quite comprehend. Very cool.
(Neanderthals hugging and kissing.... very cool indeed).

And then came Catholicism (about 1,500 years ago) and somehow that made the peoples of Europe even more affectionate.
Not to mention the effect of all the suffering, trials and tribulations that wars and plagues have had to help bring euro-people together.(Call me stoopid but up till now, I never knew wars and plagues were exclusive to euro ancestors).

And (putting aside the Catholic thing..... which is nice), I always got the impression that America was a nation of mostly caucasian immigrants, who supposedly share some memory of this ice-age suffering too.

I had the same thought when I read this the first time, didn't think it was worth 3 readings though to figure it out! laugh

Thanks breezee. thumbs up

I usually tip 20% just cause it's easier to figure than 15%. If the waitress is rude, unfriendly or inattentive, that goes down to 10%. If I can tell she's really busy, I still leave the 20, I know how hard it is to do that job. I've never done it but my daughter did, she was good at it. Anybody can be friendly, no matter how busy.
