Dear Journal,

I had my arm crushed between two pieces of heavy equipment a week ago today. I have a partial rupture of the bicep which is healing up nicely. I am very thankful that I got off so easy. When I say heavy equipment Journal, I mean heavy . No broken bones, no damage to connective tissue, just a dent in my bicep the size of your fist. It kind of makes you jealous doesn't it Journal; that my biceps are big enough to get a dent that size? I keep on trying to flex my arm thinking it's going to pop back into shape like on a cartoon or something. The doctor said that it might not ever go back to its normal shape, but I didn't listen to him, it's already going back to normal. I've been massaging it trying to push it back right, you know doing the cartoon thing, I increased my protein intake, anything I can think of.
