We are strange and varied creatures, with those at the top and those in the gutter, Same in the dating game, YES game.
This image thing all so important, to me too, my prejudice is I cant get close to an overweight woman, literally and in my mind.
Most blokes clammer for the perfect Woman in glossy magazines, or if in real life they totally lose it.
This may help to put things in perspective, think of us as animals which we are, but don't like to think so, We are all genetically programmed to perform certain functions, to survive these days its work, food, sex, children.
Replace work for hunt, and we are still cave men,
So going back to beautiful women, if I hear beauty is skin deep one more time I will SCREAM, Its not! some people are kinder and more thoughtful than others, but nothing to do with skin. If looks was so unimportant why is there a multimillion pound health and beauty industry.
So overweight people stop hiding behind a lie and do something about it, stop eating for three people, and get spiritually, mentally and physically healthy.
If it makes some people happier think of this next time you see a stunningly beautiful man or woman, imagine they have no bones and all that's left is a pile of blubber,skin,muscle and organs that kind of makes us all equal, just a genetic heap of cells.
But forget the freak good looks and the clinically obese and lets all be happy in the middle of the road, if you can?

I have been feeling guilty for lying, I put my age on this site as 48 when I am in fact 58, so WHY.
This is very difficult to explain without upsetting someone!
But hear goes I am a very young at heart person, very fit and agile a bit of a freak for my age, so when I put my true age I get totally incompatible women, (hear goes) that reminds me of my granny and they too cant believe my age, I feel so uncomfortable Ive stopped dating anyone of my age, unless there are anymore freaks of nature out there.
I usually date women around 45 years old, so I wait til they see me then tell them, most arn't bothered, some are, just about the lying bit, but if I don't lie I don't date and if I do lie I have some dates.
I hate it but WHATS the solution?????

I have just posted a reply to Geordierobinhood, and have said some controvercial things about Nottingham Women, they will probabley get together and buy a *contract hit man out of their Social.
The jist anyway is that Nottingham women are over rated, they reacon their are 5 or 6 to 1 man, but if so which I think is B******S
Most are probabley reclusive, pensioners, pushing prams around, unattractive, Chavs, dear I say common(DYNAMITE)
So lets hear which is the best and worst towns for women,ie, pulling, class, scrubbers or more important nice ladies?? WHERE??

I live in Nottingham too, and find it difficult all though Im a different generation, I think Nottingham are so over rated, The reputation is 5 or 6 women to 1 man which is B******S, If there is more, they probably stay in, a high proportion are disinterested pensioners, and a lot, not the most shapely or attractive women O Did I mention a bit common too! (DYNAMITE) Well ladies go for it!!
So Geordie you sound a decent bloke, who want accept second best. So two things you wont pull with your mate unless you compromise, so find a more sutler mate for pulling, The second option move to a better town for women, OPEN QUESTION. Where is the best Town for pulling decent women???????

Its a fact of life in the sex stakes that women have the upper hand, but why? We are the same species, genetically not much different, both eat and drink, both have similar bodily functions except reproduction, So is it purely our thinking and prime evil urges our cave man in us that makes the differance?
So why cant we all go out and enjoy ourselves take the right precautions and live happily ever after, because we fall in love, get jealous and fight.
We are treated as an underdog and all we can do is bark.
Im confusing myself, I give up because Im emotionally weaker than a woman, man hasn't evolved at the same rate as woman were a couple of hundred thousand years behind, WHAT DO YOU THINK????

Yes I believe in love in many forms, you know like the kids, parents,pets,car,food, but I mean love of, was going to say the opposite sex but that's not politically correct anymore.
I fell in with someone after a very short time, almost love at first sight,But didnt I suffer for that later on, lasted 11 of the most intense disturbing, gut wrenching, best weeks Iv,e ever known, But I couldn,t control myself was like being overtaken by someone or something, it all ended in disaster and almost destroyed me, and I still think of her almost every day three years down the line, I'm old enough to know better and I,m not normally stupid, BUT!, But how can that happen? AM I MENTAL?
Or Am I a hopeless romantic thinking love can triumph over anything.
PS I would probably do it again, cant be unlucky twice! can I?

Have to readjust my point of view, didn't know it was three years ago and he lives in Essex anyway.
So stay as you are, too much water under the bridge, start again and stop moping, be strong, and positive its a new year.

Thats a very difficult one to answer,each case is differant, but "IF" it was just the once, and he was a good father WHY take your sons Dad away from him, sounds like everyone is loosing out. If there was some problems in the relationship that made him do it, could you discuss things now? YOU KNOW BEST. Its very sad though.
Is it worth fighting for and swollowing your pride, or is it too late?

This question Iv'e posed can only be answered by the strange people that mess us around, obviosly all the replies up to now are from nice thoughtful people who have consideration for thier fellow human beings.
So it is a little nieve of me to expect an answer, because those types of people who mess us around dont have the guts or moral fibre to behave with respect and answer, So Im not trying any more(YOUR LOSS).

If it makes you so frustrated go along with it then you wont be frustrated.
Seriously you may be sending out the wrong messages, I think if they know from the outset they will be more patient.
But after that and you dont want sex, say on the third, forth or fifth date, Say you still dont want sex, Then the chemistry is wrong and so is he. MEN &WOMEN LIKE SEX its not something you have that has to be stolen, its shared by both of you, so you become one.

I agree with Nikki may, I've been on three months sent out about 60 messages got about 20 replies, had 2 dates.
Now I,m not ugly, weird, creepy, strange, and I am very genuine in why I'm on a dating site, ie' to date leading to a lasting relationship.
So why such a big discrepancy if everyone is using the site for what was intended, answer they are not.
1, My conclusions are some woman are married or in a relationship and are just playing with peoples emotions to get some kicks because they are not shown the proper attention at home, you know lonely bored housewives, Well just leave us alone and don't waste our times.
2, Another reason is money/wealth roulette, Women are trawling the net trying to locate wealthy men and not LOVE. Nasty shallow people.
3, Dating sites where its free to register then you have to pay later, Women/Men join out of curiosity, but proper paid up members can send a message not knowing they wont get a reply unless that member pays, therefore a total waste of time,dating site not very fair, it could be built into the system so that cant happen, but hey so what.
Do you have any other points of view???
