jbibiza: Do you consider it cheating if a person is having long term conversations, with more then one person, with the intent of meeting for a possible relationship?
No, JB, I don't. It's called practical reality - you simply may not have the information to make an intelligent decision from phone or online conversations.
Now, once you've met them, that's a whole 'nother barrel of fish (as they, unforunately, here in South Dakota). You may then have the necessary information to make a decision, or you may need to see more of them, perhaps even for an extended period, to make up your mind. Still, requisite information may be missing, requiring that you take up residence in your various prospective mates' homes with the idea of discovering the all-important facts about whether you're compatible with them on that level. You should, of course, organize your "live-ins" so that each prospective love interest has equal time - unfair to be discriminatory there. You should also try out various forms of sex/sexual positions, take personal measurements, research genetic/health history, and so on, with each potential lovemate before arriving at your decision.
After a few months or years of this, THEN, if you haven't made up your mind, you may consider the possibility that you're cheating.
Just my take on a complicated issue, Jacquie.
