Point is he's old news. Paul's comments mean nothing in this race. You're stretching to make excuses.

please answer this, i would really like to know sincerely, what is the difference between Paul and the Rev in regards to the 9/11 comments? Goose, you made one hell of a point.....you said "Is Paul a front runner?" "Paul's comments mean nothing in this race".....

Is the Rev in this Race? If you can bypass Paul (and I DO agree with some of his points), why are we talking about what some Rev said? If I were to go digging for McCain/Hillary bias/not so good associations, I'd smother myself in soil..... C'mon... What is the real issue goose? I can better understand you saying, not enough experience, but not he went to a church that talks about 9/11 and how America caused it... WE DID CAUSE IT.

I do not agree with "everything" that Rev has uttered from his lips, I do not agree that Obama was born from trash, I do not believe his words about Obama are true.... I believe in Obama. And I hate that the Rev has caused us to miss the overall message of "the Church".

Are you saying that the pastor came up with this out of the blue? Read the UTCC's web page. The opening declarations scream potential racism.

its TUCC-Trinity United Church of Christ and that site was thrown together by WinWorld in like a day (not that long ago), matter of fact Winworld just got a website.

But, I cant say anything bad about the "CHURCH (a group of people)", I used to be a manager at the blockbuster that was across the street, (1614 W. 95th Street/95th and Ashland) in all honesty, that church was full of people from all ethnicities (mostly white and black). On Sunday, when the families would come over to rent movies, they were happy and positive. White people wented movies that stared black actors, and vice versa.... Doesnt seem like acts of racism....And my white aunt is def not racist... As I mentioned, perhaps I know more because I was there and know people who went to that church. And i am speaking the truth, something does not seem right about this...

I understand the concern behind all of this, I am looking at this from both sides....

And from what I know, what I have seen, what I have researched, that pastor is full of it.

JMO~

think about it...those are recent comments.... 9/11 wasnt 20yrs ago..... He hasnt always spoke this way, he has/had white members....it wasnt until recent that people have started asking him to step down, and people have started leaving his church. My aunt is white, and is 100% against racism. She said, it common sense, if they interview people from there, they will see, the Pastor has done a 180, and she is taken aback by the comments of the Rev..... I tell you, there is something going on with him, I wont be surprised if the media begins to unravel the amounts of money he has taken from people

thumbs up

Hillary just sucks (yeh, I said it), I mean, most of the time, people dont even talk about her, she is like a waste of convo (no offense), but people who really do research, or who knows 1 cent about politics dont even waste the time...She told everybody she was a liar....I mean, what more do you really need... She said, oops, ok you caught me....AND SO WHAT, I am Hillary, I can do what I want (no offense, she's ok, I just would even think to vote for her....And McCain, well, I just know the republicans could have done better than voting for McCain, but I guess they were not really thinking about it much....some people said, wow, McCain actually got the republican vote....wow... Even republicans say, after all of this, I wont vote McCain....They had a better man and went with McCain, I cant believe it, and usually I tend to go a bit to the right on some things, but to vote for him is crazy, to vote for Hillary is confused I can't even ponder a thought on that, to vote Obama is logic... People want to point out his Paster, I spoke with my aunt, she is an older white christian who attends this church, she told me that the church has asked the pastor to step down, she believes someone is giving him money to "ACT A DAMN FOOL", in her words....

I believe her....

I would have to disagree. If Obama or Clinton wins, I think we will regret it. Aren't politics great!..

Seriously, McCain would not have been my first choice but I see nothing coming from the Obama camp of any substance and also see him as the type of person who will only say what he knows people want to hear. Even his mentor, Rev Wright has said this
.

JMO but Rev Wright doesnt get my attention at all, I have an aunt who attends that church, and even she doesnt agree with everything he has to say, but this has been her church for many years, should I not take advice from her because of her assosiations? Could it not be that this is the Revs opportunity to get air time (T.V) nation/world wide, and not just the local news in Chicago for a turkey his church donated? I dont think there is anything wrong with your opinions, but please, help me to understand one thing here, what are the pastors motives for trying to destroy Obama's character, and telling the world that Obama's mother was "White Trash", would you really believe someone who is speaking like this, but claiming to be "Spiritual". Maybe, he taught from the Bible, and spoke the words from that book at one time, but there is a vivid change in this man... People change, and when you begain to do things to change your life, or help others, or, progress, well, your true friends will show themselves, and so will your enemies.... And sometimes your enemies are the people you've laughed with for 20yrs.

All I am saying is this, think about the Rev.....who is he? A man with a bible, perhaps he have degress, and have gone to school for theology, and got a church, and begain to teach the word of God, but could he perhaps have some motive?

Think about the popes who have molested children.....when people attended those services, they didnt know the pope was in the back having sex with kids....So, take these things into consideration.... I wont judge a man from the content I recieved his brother nor his mother (because I can I say these things are tangible), but what I recieve from that man.....

As far as McCain, I never took the info I read about him nor the other candidates seriously, I have a friend who works in media in Chicago and New york, I work for the washington post, these writers have goals, people need to want to read what the pubs write....And unfortunately, we like lots of bull and drama, this is what we feed from. So they will get clear water and add as much dirt as possible, making it muddy so when you get it, the color and texture is different.

I researched these people myself, on my own, I listened and watched how they answered questions, what does the body language say? That is very important... who has been the most consistant if I go back a few years......hmmmm, Ron and Obama have been the most. And they are both going for a passionate change, and I would like us to unite as an America, we are truly not there yet..... And if you read any past post, you'll see I dont bad mouth the candidates (i may joke).

I listened to McCain with open ears, mind, and heart.... And I heard what he had to say. He answered the questions but not with the interest of the people....He answered so he could hurry and move on to the next... He walked away from an ill older woman and had not addressed her question...He turned his back on her..... He turned his back..... Dont know if you've gone to college, or have taken any psych classes, if not, you can google this, or just think of how you'd feel if someone turned thier back to you while you were asking them a serious question....and they begin to walk away.....however that makes you feel, just be prepared to feel that way as long as McCain is in office. .....If that is really what you want. G'nite.

Yes, Hollywood loves Obama. Actors always stick together

By the way, seems Rev Wright hates Obama. He's doing all he can to ensure that Obama does not get elected. This is actually too bad. Obama could have avoided the whole thing by being a little more aware of those he had/has close associations with. Yet another reason why the man doesn't have what I believe he needs to be President i.e. the sense God promised a house plant..

Seriously, the Rev Wright issue may have cost him the democratic nomination. That would be too bad because I would love to fight for the white house being between him and McCain. Would definately be entertaining especially after Hillary and Obama divide the democratic party.

no, people who want change stick togther..... If actors "stick" together, why arent they all Republican or Democratic..... They are from both parties.....That's point 1. Point 2. If McCain wins, you will regret it, just like with Bush.....Only 3x more. And like OBAMA said, if he doesnt get your vote this time, he'll get it next time. Good luck to America, no matter what happens.... I just wish McCain would take a seat. Looking at the other candidates, I am trying to figure out what the HELL the republicans were thinking with McCain.... I cant find anything good about him, and I have tried, because I believe everyone has a bit of good in them somewhere..... But after watching Mr. McCain....... I guess not. :^(

hey,

I wish Ron Paul could take McCains place. Because, lets say Obama didnt win..... I'd rather end up with Paul (Hillary wont win). Seriously. I was just sitting here, thinking, and if Obama didnt win.....we wouldnt have any body worth having as president, if we Had Ron Paul, the troops could come home, and everybody could just smoke weed (mind you, I don't smoke), but, hell, if Obama lost, atleast I could have something to fall back on. And I pay an ok amount for good healthcare for my child and I, so I wouldnt worry about that.

It's gonna be such a tragedy if he doesnt win...

You know, I have been doing more and more research, trying to find something good about mr mccain...and I just cant. I watched him speak to a lady who is ill, and as she asked him a question....he just walked away from her.... And it was a sincere question, from this republican older lady who is ill. She asked about healthcare treatments....I truly can't see why anyone would really vote for him. I dont understand why he is even in the race.....I mean, lets ignor all the stuff we read about these people, watch them for 2 minutes... McCain is NOT the less evil (as someone has mentioned), It made my stomach hurt, the way he treated this woman.... She represents not only republicans, but many mothers, fathers, grandparents, who are ill and have the same concerns....How could he walk away from her, barely answering her question, and turn to someone else, as if this lady never said anything to him..... It truly left a bad taste... And most of you who read my post know that I never say anything bad about the other candidates, I may joke here and there, but nothing serious, I never say who people should/shouldnt vote for, but right now, I have to say this....... really pay attention to McCain, something is not right about him. It tuly isnt. I needed to get this off my chest, I know most of you are sleep, and may respond when I am at work, but I just needed to say what I am feeling, because I dont like this feeling at all.
