At this point, I am waiting for the first complaints to come from those being forced to evaucate New Orleans and LA when the hurricane did not have enough force to merit it. "Gesh we could have stayed home and had a huricane party instead getting on the road and driving out."

Why didn't the Gov't weather radars, satellites and hurrice planes give us a more accurate forecast of the storm....so we could have just cancelled schools and taken a couple of days off?

Why is GWB doing this us just to avoid making appearance at the RNC and facing all the protesters there. Why is McCain and Palin down here in the south when they should be up in MN seeing the Iraq war protesters. Are they trying to take away all the media that the protester would get if they were there? To avoid the millions of demonstrators there......

Does the concept of 'imprefect science' or 'flawed computer models'
seems to apply here? I think so. We may live in this world and think that we know it very well. Predicting its events and thier forces is a real art of science that has flaws, errors and weakness to the predictions.

I could jump into the CO Emmission and global warming debate at this point.......but will hold off....because the exact thing applies.

But those criticisms are sure to come to GWB, the McCain Campaign and Republicans in office. One has to wonder.....are they deserved?

moonfoxinthesnow: ok so someone on here actually contacted me today with a flower box note and his phone number and asked me out for coffee... which is really sweet but I'm shy and I felt I needed more time. So I put it on the shelf to think about it for a few hours... when i come back here tonight after work I found a sour grapes note "so I guess your not interested, that sucks" and find out I'm blocked.

So I am just sitting here feeling kinda weird about it.... did I do something wrong or did I just dodge a bullet?
