age is not just a number. age is a badge of merit,and I wear mine proudly. Ay age 56, what can I possibly have in common with a woman under 45 yo? Different history...different values...different outlooks. I think anyone more that five years difference in either direction would not work for me. maybe when they don't answer you back
they are in a nice way trying to tell you no
just because you e-mail or send someone a flowers
does not mean they have to answer you back
when they don't answer you back all it means is they are not the one for you.


what ever happen to doing something nice for someone
without asking nor wanting anything in return.maybe you should try going to online today and start sending out flowers.that way they will see who you are,if they want to know you they will answer you back.if not you did something nice for someone,without asking nor getting anything back in return.

like the old saying goes you cannot make someone
do something they do not want to do.maybe the was not being rude but telling you in a nice way no

I really do read them. I want a real relationship. I very much so truly do. And I haven't had the problem here. I'm actually refering to another dating site.

But I TOTALLY See your point and I think you are right in what you say. See I take some time and effort and really try to word it right and not look stupid.

Okay here's the deal. I've been on dating site before and I've send people message. Always polite introductory messages (to get the ball rolling so to speak), and I don't get a reply. Now here's where it gets rude. These sites show you when you're messages are read. I check to see if they are. And I even say "please message me back one way or the other". AND Still no reply. In fact when I confronted someone on it. I got chewed out and called names for simply wanting a simple reply. So again I ask why are people so rude.

I went to that site about "harmony" After filling out their "proven points of compatability" I got a message that said..sorry we were unable to find someone to match you. If you have already joined go to our refund department. Absolutely true!! In the whole world, they couldn't find one match for me!! I was devastated...went out and bought more hand lotion!!

Quite a few of my online friends have joined the paying dating sites and had no more success than they had with the free ones. I do have 3 mates who have met their husbands/partners on non paying ones. I think it's more to do with fate than to do with if you pay a fee or not JMO.

She wins in the first round. However, remember, It's not always the GUYS fault. Too many and I mean TOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Many women now a day's think they are little angels and untouchable or that it is NEVER their FAULT. WAKE UP.

Ok......well.....I had had my profile on another site for a couple years.....with little results, so I cancelled the profile........then......on June 10th decided I would go back......I reactivated the account, posted a blog and got some comments, one being from my now, boyfriend. We started chatting that night...and for the next three nights...till way into the morning. Then he drove here, from Mich to visit on the fourth day....two weeks later he moved here.......that's been over two months now.....we are very, very happy.

Good point Anthony, Imagine those that have been on sites for years and are still single. It's bad enough being single, but to be broke too would really suck.
