I've done this too. I had strong feelings for an internet man. After a year of corresponding, he came from Texas to visit. He stayed at my place. There was no chemistry. Turns out he wanted a free place to stay while visiting my part of the country on vacation. Afterward, I kicked myself for having feelings for a man who I had never even met up til then!

Internet dating is strange. I now think it's wise to meet an interested person quickly, find out if they are for you and then move on if they are not. I tell myself that I can like someone who I have never met in person, but I can't LOVE them until I meet them face to face!!!!

I do believe in fairy tales.

I met my last husband, he was a prince.
