You mean kids from previous relationships or future kids? If it's future kids, their expenses should be shared in a way agreeable to both parties. My style has always been to pay for my children's expenses and not expect a man coming into their life to start paying their bills.

Being that it's a rainy day, I've been browsing profiles on this site and others. As I look at the people who "match" me, it occurs to me that I would be interested in having them as friends, but might not feel we are a "match" in a relationship. Is it OK to contact them, even though I'm not attracted to them in a romantic way?

This is tougher to answer than I thought :) My one unique feature is my feet - I had bunion surgery and my big toes are a little shorter. And how many farmers do you know who have a Masters degree. Finally, I do think that I am an non-judgmental listener, which makes me an excellent friend.

I think what White Hawk is referring to are the ladies who are from various countries and are looking for a visa, green card etc and are not afraid to attract a man with a sexy photo or a webcam offer of more skin exposed :) Thes women are not feeling bad nor do they need rescuing, They are trying to get a ticket out of where they are.

I've had guys as young as 28 contact me. They must be looking for their lost mommy. And the ones that say "I'm going to visit your area this summer" - I think no, I'm not a hotel. And lots of emails with very bad spelling. I guess I am quirky because bad spelling in a message makes me less likely to write back. One thing that turns me off when I read a profile is long, sad stories about the person's previous relationship - not something I need to know right off.
