Aries01: I just call myself a Non Denominational Bible based 'Christian' which I know is a bit long winded... .. but like you I have no respect for 'Religious' behaviours... Religious people tend to be 'a la carte' with their faith... and feel the need to engage in overly judgemental over legalistic type practices to compensate... I know a person who is like that.. he knows the Bible inside out, criticises and 'corrects' his fellow churchgoers.... but at the same time displays little compassion on a day to day basis... dunno think Religion (in the conventional sense) is counter-spiritual and has a negative impact on a persons spiritual growth... SummerTimeXOXO: I get so frustrated when I tell people I believe in God and Jesus but I don't believe in religion... in fact I am dead against it all together! It kills, lies and uses the word of God to make millions of dollars.... so..... why is it so wrong to say I am just as much a Christian as anyone else? I have spent years looking into and even attending different churches and religions to see if one of them feels right to me and guess what...... I have come to the conclusion that every religion thinks they are...................

I believe in the bible too but I don't believe in re-writing it so that people today can understand it... leave it as is!!!!! Don't mess with a good thing! Without wisdom, knowledge can bring a person down, especially without love.So the opposite of knowledge is ignorance, but the opposite of wisdom is foolishness.

Knowledge definitely does not equal wisdom.
