Being different is frowned upon, so we acquiesce to the norm. It becomes engrained in us and voila, all of a sudden you have a frickin opinion that how you are is the way it's supposed to be, when truely had you been raised by people without "emotionally imprisoned' values, you would think that is the way you should be...
Undoing what has become our accepted norms however, would be difficult especially when everyone else thinks you're off your rocker because of it.

There is order and purpose to most things.. whether we like it or not.. and they have so for a reason usually...
Promiscuity and/or jumping from sexual partner to sexual partner would create chaos... fatherless children everywhere... far more potential for incest as brothers and sisters inadvertently date each other (happened in my town... when the girl found out.. she was never right in the head again.. poor thing)... its just nonsense its not about wanting to restrict people or cramp their sexual style its about human kind its about nurturing... its about healthy relationships and ultimately a healthy society...
