trying to find my way and grow...

i have been wanting to pose this question/thread for about a week
it seemed kinda not specific enough?

oh well

there it is

i signed out-stuff to do...but i felt like comin back for a second to post this

im not asking if some deity prefers it
im not suggesting i always do right
im just wondering-a smattering of input

is it always appropriate to be kind?
i think we can be kind and release people-
as in not be suckers

but do we feel bettter-really-in any type situation when our response is kindness-?

yes... the alternative is like a corrosive acid, which slowly burns away at the soul...

Words are just words.. and you can normally tell if someone is really that into you or just saying the words for the sake of it...

As to getting scare... I suppose I would be a little if they did not know me for long.... but otherwise I would like hearing the words, cause its nice to know you are loved

No not at all, I am a devout and unshaken believer and have believed without doubt from a very young age.. what I was saying is that.. it is not the case that everything has to be proven to exist in order to exist in fact.. much of what is a component part of our existence is not yet proven or even contemplated.. existence does not come into being on the basis of proof alone.. that is just a ridiculous premise..most of the arguments establishing the existence of God are Philisophical in nature, because it is unlikely that there will ever be an eye witness and as an omnipresent omnipotent being he is simply beyond our comprehension... but when we start asking questions like.. why are we here, and what is our purpose etc... its difficult to avoid the possiblity that we are more that mere organisms that live in order to die..

But..ya know.. sick of this never ending debate.. bit pointless.. many in Jesus time who witnessed his miracles didn't believe or attributed it to something else, so the blind will always exist...

Love is an emotional thing sure, but it is also conceptual rather than a physical thing which is 'sensed' rather than seen... to that extent, the two share some similar challenges when required to be 'proven'... but yet, few will deny the existence of 'love'....

See thats what I mean... don't know if I am right or anything was just saying that while many women make alot of noise about not wanting these things... particularly in their 20's.. subconciously I think many do... a modern (wussy) man or a modern (selfish) woman is all good in theory.. but do we really want it??

Have you ever lost friends by telling them what you think about them? What can't we say? If it's to improve their behaviour, to whom should we tell the harsh truth?

Its good to be honest Christina.. cause lies don't help anyone... even white lies.. it is cowardly to lie.. however we can be honest in a kind and loving way... also we need only give information when we are asked for it...

If someone asks me for an honest opinion... beware... I will give it!!! but I will always try to do it in a nice or constructive way...

Something like clothes sense is fairly objective as well, and I wouldn't really bother too much unless the outfit made the person look ridiculous or something....

If it means that there are people who are more or less equally inclined to sexual/romantic relationships with either gender, then I would guess that was vanishingly rare. If that means that one can enjoy sexual relations with both sexes, then yes, that's real enough, surely.

I'm thinking of a friend who emotionally is drawn to her own sex - female - but actually slightly prefers sex with the opposite sex...

Go figure.

Yeah... I think you are right... the question is which sex the person has an emotional as well as sexual connection with...

Physically sex is just about push the right buttons.... sexual orientation is about more than that.. bi-sexual people I would say IMO are just highly sexed and/or confused and will generally choose one or the other when it comes to actual relationships..

My Dad used to bake fresh bread... he used to rise the dough in the Airing cupboard..... it was yum....

I dunno.. I do wonder sometimes if deep down.. subconsciously.... we want the traditional things... me for example.. I love a man who is a man.... u know the type that likes fixing things ....is strong and WHO IS firmly protective of his loved ones.. I like that...

I would quite like the nurturing role also.. u know kids etc... dunno.. I wonder if all our striving.. is against the current after all... and really what we should all be doing is getting back to basics.... just food for thought

I pay for every date.

I even offer to pay for a baby sitter.

And if it is a long distance relationship, I even pay for groceries, and offer to pay for some of the house expenses. If that is not accepted, I try to take on most of the house chores.

seriously???... there is such a thing as being too nice too MB.. the motivation and feelings have to be there on both sides... paying for everything all of the time will just cloud the important issue.... don't think is a good idea to be very honest sweetie... unless of course the girl is equally generous... ...

given free will to play with the manifestiations of the Ego. Verification is only found within our soul or
spirit. It is truly a one soul adventure finding the path for ourselves. We may find comfort in sharing
the path or discovering with Others but it ultimately comes down to only OneSelf to discover.

I can only speak for myself anyway.... I would be so unimpressed by a guy not offering to pay, that it would be the one and only date he has with me...

If a date goes reeeaaaally bad and I defo do not want to see the person again, I would probably insist on paying.. if I hoped to see the person again I would have no difficulty accepting his offer to pay... just me and my way.. sorreeee

As sweet and kind as I would expect from you Daniel....

... be careful though.. you can be too giving and spoil a girl into expecting constant handouts.... relationships should evolve into mutually giving things.. even if a girl can't afford fancy restaurants.. one would expect that she would be offering to at least cook dinner on occassion... all give by either party tends to not work also.. give and take is best..
