lucky200761: I somewhat disagree...so what your saying is that finding a mate is what life is all about?..other than that life is pointless ....there are plenty of ways you can have love and receive love in your life; family, God, friends, etc... If that's the only way you feel you can experience love in life than that in itself is pointless and lacks value...what about the people who choose to remain celibate?

BarrenPneuma: Love is an intangible gift surpassing all other gifts. It cannot be taken in any way and only has value when given away without conditions. It can not be held in any way that is not detrimental to its absolute ideal except in memory and in Faith.
Happiness is not something we can receive from others, we can share their own happiness but to have our own comes only from within. A helping hand can hold you up but you must stand on your own.
For life to be worthwhile we have to understand what life is and that is an individual journey that will take all of our earthly days. Life is not in the knowing but in the accepting and living to its fullest.
To best experience life, Love and Happiness all we have really to do is share and give it away as often as possible.
Our society has befuddled the conceptuality of worth. We have been fooled into believing that our true measure is in what we as individuals have. Not only in a physical sense but more perversely in an abstract way. Our true worth is in reality what we have to give. No matter how giving one is, if they only seek to pass on the physical remnants and achievements they will eventually run out of offerings. To give of your heart in all ways allows others to see the examples of happiness, Love and of course the grand wonderment of life. And in doing so is really the only way to have any sort of inner peace and completion of merit.
Life is contagious and we would do best by our fellow man and ourselves by ensuring that the epidemics we nurture and pass on are the ones that provide examples for those in our lives to best share what they likewise are.

pianolover: I have a lady friend who is my age,36 years old. She has a boyfriend who is much older than her. He did heart surgeries three time this year and was almost died. She will marry him this year, but all of her family and friends disagree, beacuse of this man has a very serious heart problem.

BarrenPneuma: Bedraggled but oh so happy to know that the last 1000 feet was at least to some small degree lit and that my freedom was just ahead. I almost skipped across the floor of the setup ahead of me and then realized that I would break my neck if I allowed any sort of haste to push me forward as the ground is about as even as a pile of broken bricks. I picked my way up the last part of the ramp and turned the last corner before the cage. The light allowed me to see much clearer almost like looking through half-lidded eyes but brighter than the sun for me at this time.
I could hear the guys ahead and knew I had made it. I turned the corner and saw them... or maybe it was them who saw me. Either way there is no sound to quite describe 5 jaws dropping to the ground at one time, but there it was and then that intriguing sound was drowned out by laughter to shame children. My face would have blushed and may even have done so but the mud kept my complexion a uniform grey mottled with great dollops of black. Fortunately the cage was lifting into view at this time and I had a few minutes reprieve from sharing my adventurous story to my great relief. I was not looking forward to the story I would have to shame myself with all the way to surface and even moreso the repeating of this shame to each new man who got on the cage for our trip to surface. I do know too many people here I think. Oddly enough very few asked anything of me and even less stood anywhere close enough to bother having a discussion as the noise in the mine drowns out all but the closest of conversations. All I got was a smile, some laughter and a whole lot of wrinkled noses.
I guess there is something to be said of stinking to high hell after all.

gunnerden: i am here to defend myself against ptcruiser's accusations. thank you to all the people who emailed me letting me know what she was doing. this woman has been through alot and claims she is mentally ill and i do believe after reading her thread that this really could be the case. this woman lies alot and gets off on telling other people that they are crazy. she came to my home from st.peters, mo with her two sons to camp out on my land. when she got out of her car i noticed her swagggering like a zombie and looked totally out of it. she said it was the new medicine that she was taking. i asked her that if she was feeling bad then why didnt she stay home because when someone is that drugged up, how could she have any fun? she saw that i was drinking a beer and began argueing and yelling at me. this went on for quite awhile and i finally told her to pack up and leave. since then she has been spreading malicious rumors about me, having people call me, making untrue statements about me through the va and so on. two sides to every story and she is worried about me sueing her because of all this crap she is pulling to get attention and is very angry because i kicked her out of my home. so i ask you all, should i file suit? when will this all end? i have no desire to be with this woman. she herself doesnt know who she is for she has two or more personalities. so who in their right mind would want to deal with that? once again, thank all of you for letting me know what she has been doing. any input?
