I love his kindness and most of all his sense of humor. I have shared many a conversation with him on the phone and he is just as wonderful as he is here in the forums.

What a great picture Leo. Think of the memories you made for your grandson that day. I would think you would be proud to be called Grandpa.

PS .... I better take this comment to private mail *wink*kiss

When my son's father would have difficulty buttoning his shirts, he would often swear "fuckin buttons". One Sunday morning when my son was 2 and just learning to talk, while visiting my fathers church for the first time, he was playing with the buttons on the mans shirt behind us as we stood to sing a hymn. Then my father said "let us bow our heads in prayer" and the entire congregation grew silent ... my son said "fuckin buttons"!

Personally I don't really care for Hillary Dillary....and to vote for someone just because they would be the first woman in the white house or because her husband was once president is the incorrect reason to elect her. I do not believe she is "qualified" to do the job.
As first lady she didn't seem to accomplish her tasks given. So...what is she going to do when she has bigger, more important things?

PS-I hope Obama isn't elected either!

I don't believe she is qualified to run a country either. And on a smaller note, if she lacks self respect for herself, how can she demand respect for an entire country? Many say having Bill behind her is an asset ... I think he is a detriment.

I think she only keeps him around for her own political gain and to me that is deceptive, manipulative and just plain pathetic.

I find it perplexing that the adults make these life altering decisions but it's our children they send to do the dirty work and put their lives on the line.

If Bush himself had to serve, I bet we never would have gone to war.

I would say regardless of how long you've been together, you are not compatible. One of you has tried to work it out - the other ignores the problem.

I think it's time to part company as friends and move on.

I think it's healthy to have standards ... that being said, I think everyone will admit that the first thing we do in any new relationship is compromise and adjust our standards.

I have to confess I rate most everyone a 10 also because I feel all are beautiful in their own way.

The only ones that get a lower rating is if the picture is so out of focus you can't see them or if it's of some other part of their body only and doesn't show their face.

Ok, you have probably figured out that I am talking about myself...

I met one man from another site about 2 months ago and another from this site 6 weeks ago. I really enjoy the time spent conversing with both of these men and feel a connection with each. I have spent time with both on the phone, IM, and email. I've told them both that all kinds of interaction are welcome with the exception of sexual and romantic conversation, I feel that those types of things are better left until you meet face to face.

In spite of this I have recently started feeling a little bit guilty... the subject of "seeing" other people had never been brought up but I felt I needed to be honest and have sent each of them a message telling one about the other, no details just the fact that I have been conversing with someone else on a level similar to what I share with them.

I'll be waiting nervously for their responses, I may have lost both of them... or not.

Or they will admire your honesty. Best of luck ... I think you did the right thing.thumbs up

There are so many variable to this question.

If you have promised you will not consider love/commitment until you have met, it sounds pretty serious. But even then I don't feel innocent small talk would bewrong. If however you are discussing more serious stuff (sex, etc.) then I think it is unacceptable.

Well you can tell somethings about a person by the pictures they choose to post, how they choose to portray themselves, their surroundings, items in the picture... all little things that give you clues about the person. I sent a message to a guy because I loved his smile, and he looked a little goofy in the picture so I knew he didn't take himself too seriously, my first impression was right and we're still talking and hopefully meeting soon. Also it's just nice to put a face to a personality...

I agree with jbibiza ... you can tell if they are neat/messy, well groomed, and many times bits and pieces of their personality.

Don't forget - "one picture is worth a thousand words"grin
