Thank God I don't think I would ever have to make this decision. My son is too big a chicken to rob anyone and if he managed to pull it off, his guilty conscience would get the better of him within the day and turn himself in.

But it he did ..... never! I could never turn my child in unless another life was taken.

The gap in cultural and religious knowledge. By executing this man, you are giving him great honour.
Then why is he running?

Is that an open invitation?
Offered with the knowledge that I know Leo's car will never make it and he doesn't have the finances to fly.

But I bet he'd be a really fun date.

should you be limited to the amount of things you can talk about without talking about other people from connecting singles ?

how many topics can you come up with everyday that we can talk about ??????...and yes the forum is big enough for hundreds of different topics everyday

...and yes we've had threads like this from people like you had nothing to say about themselves that have come and gone

In all fairness, you could perhaps take the hint rather than become defensive. Even though it is agreed you are a likable fellow with interesting topics, this is not the first time this subject has been brought to light.

You seem to have lots to say, perhaps participating in the other threads would satisfy your need to be heard.

Many (I did not say ALL) have depression because of lack of direction and goals in life. Without a direction or goals there is a lack of esteem and hope. In such cases, only they can make changes,......most will not.
Then our loved ones tell us to snap out of it and quit being a worthless piece of crap. Of course this helps.....right!(stupid!)

People do not know how to correct this in themselves and truly believe it is not going to work. Only if they work for something better long enough to have an improvement will they have a hope of success in beating it.

The mind is like a tape. If we do not watch, people and life will record a lot of bad stuff to the tape deep in our subconsious. A person has to learn to stop the bad and record good things enough times to fade out the old recordings. These recordings make us see good or bad. Good recordings....then a good outlook.

The book Psycho-Cybernetics By Maxwell Maltz is the best book on self improvement in the subject.

If it is not this type.....doctors will help.

But if it is the type I am talking about. Doctors will make it worse with meds.
I really don't know that much about what kind he has.

All I do know is he has only been having problems with it since his wife cheated on him and left. (1 year ago) He said without the medication, he couldn't get through a work day without crying uncontrollably. He admitted the therapy was helping but stopped because it was too expensive.

Now he throws himself into his work (self employed Mason) so he doesn't have time to think about the divorce. He works until late at night until he is exhausted and then goes home to eat and sleep.

God I wish I could help him.

In response to:
My Marriage dissolved due to my wife's depression. She refused to admit it was happening, and hence refused to seek treatment. (Or, alternately blamed me for the reason she was depressed.) SHe would only admit she was depressed when she was using it as an excuse for her behaviour.

I would go and talk to him.... The last thing he needs is to be left alone. Depression, especially the Manic kind can be very addicting. They have incredible highs as well as incredible lows. Once they get help or medication, the lows go away, but so do the highs. My wife would stop taking her meds to get the "high" back, and then would go so low she didn't feel like taking the meds.

Take the rest of this with a grain of salt but... Once he gets help, he still might not be the same person you once knew. And dealing with someone who suffers from depression can be just as bad as dealing with an Alcoholic in as much as they often refuse to acknowledge they have a problem... Or only acknowledge they do so that they can say... "Well, I suffer from Deprssion, so you just have to deal with that."
Oh he knows and admits he suffers from depression. At one time he was open about it.

If he could possibly be a threat to himself, does that mean he could be a threat to me?
