He is going through a nasty divorce. And he is on medication for it. He was seeking professional help but stopped due to the expense.

He is not living alone but likely his son is not much help.

At this point the only way to talk to him is to try and catch him at home or leave a voicemail since he is avoiding my calls.

After dating the same person for 4 months, I find out he suffers from depression. I have watched him slowly change from the most fun, outgoing individual to moody, quiet and untrusting. I really care about him but I'm not sure what to do.

Since he has stopped all communications with me, I am at a loss how to proceed. Do I leave him alone? Do I continue to try to talk to him or do I give up?

help

As is the case with most internet dating sites, if one is to make a relationship work, someone has to agree to move.

I am willing to give up alot for a relationship but my home and friends is not one of them.

Speaking only from personal experience ....

Trust your instincts ... "what could he want with me". If it is only a good time you are looking for, go for it. If you don't wish to be a notch in this young man's belt, move on.

I'm a fairly average looking chap...slightly overweight, few grey hairs appearing, and I bite my nails.

So, nothng special.

If so many women speak of the personality of a man as being the most important aspect of a potential partner, can I honestly assume that an attractive woman would ever be interested in somebody like myself?

Or is it the case that women are just as focussed on physical appearence as men are?
I will admit it ... I want the whole package. yay

Starting with looks obviously because that is what one notices first but personality is just as important.

A man who is confident and secure has always been my attraction. Age doesn't necessarily have anything to do with that.

It's going to be difficult at best to find a woman who loves kids (yours) but isn't allowed to have any of her own. confused

But then they say there is someone out there for all of us ... so good luck.

I would check to see how long a tankless water heater actually lasts. I was floored when I had a hot water heater replaced (cost about $650) and the plumber told me water heaters only last 6-7 years before they need replacing again! So the extra cost for a tankless water heater may pay for itself in the long run.
Mine cost $950.00

Ain't it amazing ... you can get advice on just about any subject in these forums.

I don't know anything about this hot water heater or it's installation however, my electric hot water heater recently caught fire and my home owners insurance completely covered the cost of a new once less the deductible. So if you haven't already thought of it, I would suggest checking with your insurance company.
