I was about to ask that too.

LOL, me too. wow! Interesting indeed!

For me it's all about the right feeling and sometimes convenience. Being accustomed to travelling to Russia by train since I was a child, I'd definitely take a train anywhere in that direction, AND just HAVE to have tea from those special glasses, with a silver glassholder. angel

If I go "west" (Europe proper), then it has to be in one of those Eurolines buses. laugh That's how I first started travelling there (Germany, UK) and that's what feels best. (Not to mention the fact that e.g. to get to the UK you'd have to cross 6 countries dancing banana )

In America I have no idea what you do, but I'd try both for sure, it's got to be great there too.

laugh I don't think I'd claim the cold beer or the TV remote. However, with those two, who needs a companion, a lover, or a wife? rolling eyes

Now define "by choice"?

The only "choice" that I can make is that I will not get together with people that I have nothing in common with.

I love that song too! And I have a Casablanca DVD here. laugh

Anyways, I wasn't joking about getting a dog, but would be a very serious decision of course, cos a dog is for a lifetime, not until you feel better around people.

I have always wondered. Why do you often see a gorgous woman with a rough looking guy with a bad attitude ?
What is it ? Is it the challenge that draws the Beauty to that Beast ?

An interesting question..

I used to only like guys with good attitudes. Then I met someone who could be generally considered a "bad" guy, but he was very (very) nice to me. Then he stopped being very nice to me, and it got really ugly - so now I am back to only liking "good" guys, cos there must certainly be a reason why a guy has "bad" attitudes, and I don't wanna find out what they are, or worse yet fall prey to them.

Get a dog! He'll never "cut you out of his life", he'll ALWAYS be happy to see you and love you for who you are, AND you will most probably meet a LOT of new friends!

I believe that's what humans are given a language for.

IMO, some persistance is always nice, but if you really want to see some success, try at least changing something (to get the lady interested). Otherwise, if she does give you a chance and sees "same old" again, I doubt she'll want to bother any further. At least I wouldn't, but these are only my own speculations about the subject.

Why do women put prefer not to say when it asks if the want children? I don’t understand why it would be a secret one way or the other and hope someone can explain this to me.

I had to go check my profile, it does say Not Sure.

I know of ladies who cannot imagine NOT having children. I'm not one of them, and the more I think, the more I cannot imagine my life WITH children. (having worked as a teacher for 5 years, LOL) However, IF he was REALLY special, and IF he really wanted kids... I probably wouldn't mind adopting one, LOL.

Having been around dogs for more than 18 years, I do know what breeding is about (and how difficult it is to get it all right), and I certainly do not consider myself a prime specimen of the breed, LOL.

Yes, my breeder even did puppy evaluation over Skype once!! (the puppies were on another continent) thumbs up

Still, to me the phone is the most personal way of communication (apart from "in person" itself, obviously). It's just cool to sit in a traffic jam and see that special person's number come up on your caller ID, calling you just to ask how your day is going. smitten

Besides, Skype is SO fully of people spamming you each and every day wanting to "get to know you" these days, it's quite shocking! I wonder what criteria they use for selection... dunno

For me, a telephone call is already very personal. I mean, the person is going to be talking right into my ear, that's very close laugh

So in no way would I want to do that first. With me, a few emails, then an IM chat (which can totally ruin any and all good impressions of the guy, especially when he made a lot of sense in the first promising emails), and then, IF all goes well, a phone call.
